Quote from: DaveBrown74 on May 30, 2024, 09:11:49 PMSo there are two Hard Knocks shows now?

I felt like one was more than enough.

Well, one is focusing on the offseason (featuring the Giants), and one is featuring training camp.   I think that there is enough meat on that bone that the split should work.

Quote from: Gman329 on May 30, 2024, 10:31:13 PMGiants must see more in Ezeudu than I do.  If he has to play much, either at OG or OT, we're in trouble.

At the very least, they see a high 3rd round pick.  Picking a guard high in the third round usually yields a serviceable starter

He was waived injured.   We don't know when he would have been able to contribute

Quote from: kartanoman on May 30, 2024, 02:21:42 PMSteve Smith Jr., for all of his talking during his career, backed it with tremendous effort and practiced more than everyone on his team. That he attends NFL camps, such as the Giants, to coach up the young receivers is a gift and blessing for these kids who can look up to him as an example of how to make it in the NFL and, also, have someone they can always turn to as a big brother of sorts.

We may have despised him as an opponent who tore the Giants up in his heyday; however, to see this dynamic of the man, the person who cares about helping the youngsters breaking in, regardless of the team, is one of the positive stories the NFL should be proud of and lucky to have a man of this character to channel his desire to coach in this unique manner.

Peace!

The funny thing is, we're old.  We remember his career.  I wonder how much the young players know of him.

Quote from: Jclayton92 on May 30, 2024, 02:40:34 PMI don't care who Starts as long as whoever is back there is moving and/or taking shots with the football down the field. It has to change this season.

I agree with your point to an extent.   I would have preferred to hear Lock was lighting it up and that there could be a QB competition.   I consider the Admittedly early reports on Lock less than ideal.
