If Collins gets offers from the Giants and the Jets which does he take and why?

With La'el Collins visiting both NY teams this week, I wouldn't think it would turn into a bidding war. The Giants have $4M in cap space, the Jets have have $6.4M.
He tore his ACL and MCL in Week 16 last season. Would think he's looking for the best opportunity to play so he can rebuild his value for the future.
This clarification makes me a little less optimistic Collins may be ready to play

Assuming the money is the same, I would suspect he'd rather to go to the Jets, as they are more talented and have a better record.

Sadly, I think you're right :(
It's funny; I asked this question because I saw the Tweet I posted. My knee-jerk reaction was, "Of course, he will pick the Giants because they are the better team and better coached." Then I thought about it and asked, "Would he really pick the Giants?"
How deep in the depths are the Giants that they have to consider a player who tore 3 of his 4 knee ligaments and is only 9 months out of surgery?

It's pretty much how it's been for about a decade.
@Dumpster Dan got his nickname years ago. I used to accuse him of dumpster diving because he was always bringing the names of offensive linemen cut/released from other teams. That seems to be the life of a Giants fan; we are always looking in other teams' trash bins, hoping to find offensive line treasure.

From what I saw the Jets have more cap space left than the Giants do so they probably end up offering more than the Giants do.

Ha Ha Rich that's great. If one of his dumpster recommendations were Ron Stone, he built up a lot of goodwill from that recommendation.
Thats going back a ways but I sure did
Dumpster Dan
Maybe we'll get lucky and he will like the way he looks in a blue uniform vs a green uniform...

And if he plays well and earns an extension the Jets are primed to win when Rodgers returns next year.
Sadly, he'd obviously go for the Jets.
Not necessarily. If he were to pick the Giants he would get a crack at his old team. Ex-players like to circle certain dates on their schedule for things like that.
You play for the Giants because they are dumpster fire at the O-line. More opportunities to build on locking up a job and a long term contract. Simply put more opportunity to stand out against poor players.
