That's interesting. I don't think I've ever used a plural word for a guess, but I could be wrong. Won't do it again if I have in the past.
Probably a smart move to change the word list as someone figured out the algorithm to know what each word is going to be in the future and posted it several months ago. I don't know who would use that to cheat, but glad it will be gone

Having four letters and then quickly figuring it out only makes it easy because it narrows down the possibilities. Unless it's one of those words where the first letter has multiple variations. Not the case here.

It wasn't a hard word, just took me a few minutes to think, ponder, doodle a bit, and viola, there it was. I am really not good at sort of scrambling and unscrambling words. Give me a math, or numbers puzzle and I'm all in. In our local paper, the puzzles get progressively harder as the week goes on, but today, I got all the number puzzles, the sudoku, and even the find the mistake puzzle that they put in Saturday's paper. It was like the tri-factor for me something I rarely get.
