One other thing to keep in mind is that the Cardinals are one of the original NFL teams (NOTE: they originate back to Chicago's Morgan Athletic Club in 1898) and the Bidwell family has owned the Cardinals dating back to 1932. So, I would be willing to offer up that the old guard NFL franchises (i.e. Chicago, Green Bay, the Giants, Detroit) might be hesitant to jettison Bidwell unless there was no other recourse.

But, in today's big business world of Corporate Ethics and Compliance, even the President and CEO need to be careful since the spotlight is often on them and what happens regarding their business entity is generally a direct reflection on them.

But, this is the NFL and Roger Goodell is the current ringleader. What that means is everything you have witnessed on his watch is likely to tell the story about how this issue will be handled. If it doesn't break squelch, as far as NFL profits are concerned, it is quite probable that very little will be done about it apart from, perhaps, an undisclosed settlement to make it go away. But we shall see.

Peace!

And in other important news, Mr. Bidwell is a victim of spousal physical abuse.

Really?

You betcha!

Can't make this stuff up! See for yourself:

If the drama isn't taking place on the field, it's down the road on Paradise Lane. Thank goodness it's the part of Paradise Lane near Scottsdale.

Peace!
