He should be interesting. Hartman was disappointing relative to my expectations. This Angeli kid from New Jersey who just played in the game against Oregon State looked better to me than Hartman did this year. He should transfer out with Leonard coming.

Non-playoff bowl games are meaningless with so many players opting out.  OSU with McCord transferring and MH and Eichenberg sitting out is not OSU.

Penn St without Olu, Kalen or Dixon is not Penn St.

Same with other schools.

Totally agree.

In my opinion, the only appeal left to these games is to watch your own team that you root for to get more of a look at underclassmen. It's kind of similar to the NFL preseason in that sense.

Thankfully it's all being changed. Finally.

Yes 100%

Penn State has got to have a real QB competition this spring.  The more I watch Allar, the more I just don't see it happening.  He doesn't process fast enough.  Our WRs are trash (and we may be getting more help there soon), but the difference in "juice" between Allar and his backup is tangible.  I described Allar today as "Eli Manning without the talent"....ie, he gives the same aw shucks vibes but just hasn't shown game to get past that.

I hated that our defense had 3 key starters out today and a gimpy Carter for much of the game.  That would have been one hell of a matchup with that Ole Miss offense.  Ah well.

The amount of guys not playing takes a lot out of these games, the non-competitive nature of today's games makes it worse.

It was definitely a lot better as a draft primer some years ago.

I got my ticket to the Rose Bowl for Michigan bs Bama.  Very excited for sure.

Big College Football day today.

Can someone explain why they had to start the 2nd game at 845 eastern time?  It will end after midnight.

It's New Years day, most people stayed up later than usual last night and have to go back to work tomorrow.  Since most are off work today the west coast could have turned in at 4PM.

Same reason they start the NCAA hoops final at 9:30. MONEY. Or maybe I should say greed.

Just not even seeing how it makes them more money in this situation.  With a today a Holiday, the ratings should be fine out of primetime

Just had a 4.3 earthquake in Los Angeles.  Not sure that is a good sign.

I get that it's all a business, but I have to say it annoys me to no end that we have all this spare time over the holidays, and yet the time slot they're giving us for one of the only two postseason games that actually matter today is 8:45pm EST. We have had all this spare time and all these mornings to sleep in as late as we want, and right before the first work day of the year they're saying anyone on the east coast who wants to watch this game to the end needs to be up until about 1am the night before the first work day of the year.

We've been waiting for weeks for these games, and they're basically making one of them impossible to watch until the end if you live anywhere in this area if you have anything before a 7am wakeup (I'm up at 5:15 on workdays) and want to be fresh and on your game the next day. They couldn't do these two games at 3pm and 7pm? Why would that be a problem for West Coast audiences? The West Coast has no problem watching NFL games at 10am. Why is noon on New Years' Day a problem? They could do one or two of any of these other meaningless, irrelevant bowl games that nobody cares about in the later slots.

Bo should shut himself down for the second half.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

What's being changed? You can't fine unpaid players right?

Outside of the 4 teams playing for the championship the entire Bowl season is a joke. The other day there was a team with a .500 record playing. How desperate do you have to be to tune in?
