Evan (bedl365) passed away last Saturday at his home of a heart attack.
Lenn, Unimachi, Rich and I met Evan earlier this season for an away game at Menlo Park mall. He was genuinely nice and the kind of man you would instantly like. I know he had at least one young son about the age of 10. Evan worked on the new Giant stadium and the indoor ski slope for Zanadu this past year.
If I find out any more information, I will pass it along.
My prayers and condolences to his family.
May God bless.
Very sad. May God bless and comfort his family.
OMG, this is horrible news! He was too young. My prayers go out for him and his family.
I am so sorry to hear this.
Deepest condolences and prayers to Evan's family from ours.
My most sincere condolences to the family.

Terrible news. My heartfelt condolences to his family. Right before XMAS, how very, very sad.
So sad, such a young man.
I've expressed my sympathies to his family via the guestbook Vette posted. Thank you Vette for taking care of this.
I am very saddended by the news, RIP bedl365.
The board only goes back roughly 9 months, but Bedl365 was such a nice guy and gentleman that I think his wonderful contributions were often over looked. He was a man that was interested more in hearing what others had to say than just giving his opinions. I don't think I ever heard him speak an ill word toward anyone. Here are some of his best posts. RIP Evan you will be sorely missed.

I just found out this shocking and disheartening news. Too young for this to happen. Evan was a class act on the forum and it was a priviledge to have met him. Very saddened by this. Condolences and prayers to his family.
RIP Evan and my condolences to his family. Our little group has lost a solid contributor and we shall miss him.
So sorry. It is always difficult to lose a loved one, but even moreso during this time of year.
My heart goes out to his family.
God Blesss Evan.
This is terrible news. It certainly puts things like talking about football in perspective.
May he rest in peace.
I too just expressed my sympathies to his family via the guestbook Vette posted.
I had not read about Evan until a few minutes ago. I'm just shocked and extremely upset and sadden. My condolences and prayers to his family.
God Bless Evan.
How sad. My condolences also.
Very sad news. My sympathy to his loved ones, and God rest his soul.
I've been away from the board for a few days, and come to find this. What terrible news. My prayers go out to his wife and family. We've lost a number of good men here over the years, and Evan now joins them in our pantheon of friends. May God bless him and welcome him.

Terribly sad news. My heart goes out to his family.
May he rest in peace.
What do you mean by departed and RIP, Rich. Good Lord!
Painter look at the post at the top of the board
Great way to honor his memory Rich. . .
I don't know why I didn't see it. Here I was watching wide-eyed at the Giants performance tonight, and then suddenly I felt all the air go out of me as if punched in the gut. I'm heartsick by the news, and by thoughts of his family's agony. May God bless Evan, and give him rest. My deepest sympathy to his loved ones.
Way too young. I hope he's enjoying tonight's game from the best seats in the house.
My condolences to his family.
Mighty, thanks for sharing these threads with us. Bedl365 will be missed.
Rest In Peace.
I am extremely sorry to hear such bad news. i'll miss his "pointless tirades,half-baked opinions, spelling and grammatical erors and overall over use of sarcasm." RIP Bedl365

I agree. This is a wonderful way to honor the memory of a valued member of this community.
Thanks Rich. This one is one of my favorites.
Have A Little Faith
"After reading some of the post game posts I'm glad that some of them weren't on the Titanic because I fear they'd be pushing the women and children out of the way so they could get on the lifeboat first.
IT'S NOT OVER! There are 7 games left to play and ANYTHING can happen and until the Eagles or the Cowboys get to 11 wins I'm not ready to concede anything.
The Giants played well enough to win. Yeah there was some questionable strategy. The "D' broke down in the end but they didn't get a ton of points scored on them by a team that's capable of scoring on anybody. Penalties killed our heroes today. Have faith my brothers."

I cannot express in words how this news makes me feel. This is just tragic and terrible. He was a great contributor to this board and just an overall intelligent fan. He will be missed. RIP Bedl365
GREAT tribute, Mike! :ok:
I'm sure Evan's family appreciates the kind words some of you expressed in his guest book. He has young children that will save that book to keep and remember their father years from now.
Evan went out of his way to get a group of us together this past fall. He was obviously fond of all the men and women here. I'm sure he appreciates all that has been expressed both here and in his guest book from that better place.
My condolences. Sad indeed.. May G-d bless him and his family and loved ones.
My heartfelt condolences to the family for their tragic loss.I know how difficult it is to lose a loved one during this season,I lost my Dad in October, some of you may remember him from the old board as deboo, and it just brings back so many memories. If there is anything we as individuals or collectively can do for the kids please keep us informed on the situation.
Unbelievably sad. I'm sorry I never got to meet Evan, I always enjoyed his wit and his insights. His family is in my prayers.

Just a suggestion but how about we get a fund and bring his family to a game next year. I don't know how to arrange such things but would be willing to make a nice donation. This is a great community I know there are many here who could help and do something nice for the family.

Count me in for $50.00. Let us know what gets set up via a special thread on the board.
Thanks so much for suggesting this.
Count me in too.
What terrible news. My condolences to his family and friends.
All I can say is WOW. My brothers Kathy told me about the response about our brothers death on this website, and I must say he was blessed to have all of you who may (or may not)have shared his views about his beloved Giants. Just to thank you all, and please keep writing I am sure his son and daughter would love to look back on this someday and realize how truly amazing their dad was. Again Thanks to all, Please pray for his family
I recall seeing a post or two of his...definately will miss his "voice" on this board. Things like this remind you of how delicate life really is...and just how resonate "here today gone tomorrow" really is.
His legacy here on BBH will not soon be forgotten =D> =D> =D> =D>
I was sad to read about Evan's death. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and members of this board, who will miss his keen insight and wit.
I am absolutely stunned speachless at this unexpected tragedy. My heartfelt condolences to Evan's family.

My heartfelt sympathy to his family.
This is the first I'm hearing of this since I couldn't get to the site to often during the holiday season. I was debating on going to the NJ get together during the season but at the last moment decided not to attend. I now regret that decision and only wish that I attended. May you RIP Evan.
