Few more Giants contract details:

• CB Darnay Holmes: 1 year, $2M with $50K guaranteed. He got the rarely used "four-year qualifying player" veteran salary benefit (VSB). Players with four straight years with a team can receive a base salary worth up to $1.45M more than the minimum while the cap hit is at the level of a player with two years experience. Long story short, his cap hit is just $1.3M.

• OT Matt Nelson: 1 year, $1.3M with $75K guaranteed. This is a standard VSB contract, so the cap hit is $1.2M.

• Dexter Lawrence's restructure has been processed on the NFLPA site, so the Giants now have $8.3M in cap space.

Some former Giants contract details:

• OL Ben Bredeson with the Bucs: 1 year, $3M with $1.75M guaranteed. I'll leave it to
@nickkorte
 to break down the comp pick implications of that contract.

• OLB Jihad Ward with the Vikings: 1 year, $1.8M with $1M guaranteed.

• OL Matt Peart with the Broncos: 1 year, $1.3M with $367K guaranteed. It's a VSB contract.

Obviously none of these players were priced out. Not a surprise that Ward isn't back with Wink gone. Giants turning over their OL starters/depth.

Both can be post camp cuts. 😌
