Bring in chip Kelly. I feel this is a no-brainer.
I think chip is an innovator on offense and can work with Eli manning.
I understand chip Kelly inherited a 4-12 team & won the division.

Spags cannot rush the passer.
He needs players who can.
The D-Line suffered because they lacked any rookie production since the drafting of JPP.
This includes the high profile failure of Demantre Moore to develop.
Additionally, the injury of JPP, well after the free agency plums had already been picked prevented the Giants from collecting the kind of talent required.

If they had a crystal ball, perhaps they would have given a greater effort to signing Ndamkin Suh.
I honestly believe that bringing one more top tier pass rusher into the rotation would have won at least 4 more games.
That's how close they really were.

I still feel that they are close.
Three upgrades: Two more impact pass rushers (one by draft and one by free agency), one stud linebacker (by either draft or free agency).
Spags will redeem himself.

Suh is a head case. He can't be trusted.

Spagnolo won a Super Bowl in his rookie season as a defensive coordinator. I don't want him to leave. Coughlin hired him not Reese.
Eli's numbers are up behind this patchwork line so Macadoo seems like he's helping. Tom brought him over from the packers. That's why I don't want to see Coughlin go.
If Macadoo had a tight end Eli's numbers would be more impressive. This offense warrants a pass catching tight end even more so than others and quarterbacks in general benefit from having a "safety blanket" but that's asking too much of Reese in five years. Maybe Adrien Robinson will emerge (that's sarcasm).

Reese is the problem. He is the weak link. He simply misses on 80% of his picks.
Are the Mara's & Tish's that stupid that they can't identify he's incompetent?
I wonder if they're looking to fire Coughlin instead.

We could have had Bill Belichick possessed by Vince Lombardi running that defense and it wouldn't have made a bit of a difference.  Those players are just plain awful.
absolutely right.
We know who to blame for that.

Also Shockey left because he had an argument with that incompetent GM we call Reese.

The B was Ballard.
understood. I don't remember Ballard moving on to do anything.
Eli is Accorsi's guy.
Eli makes the targets.

Your post was mainly a rant about Reese.  But, I must say something about the above Eli comments:

1.)  Eli has had good TEs during his career - Shockey (lost to injury & egotism), Boss (lost to injury) & another guy whose name starts with a B (lost to injury).

2.)  Eli had excellent O lines during his SB years.

3.)  Reese is wasting Eli's remaining years mainly because he's put such a sad D on the field.
Shockey was like a rental for Eli.
Boss was good because Eli made him. When he left he did nothing that's how I know he's nothing.
The guy with a B is that Travis Beckham?
When a receiver leaves Eli for another team,he does nothing.
Eli makes the targets.
Fire Reese. He's piggy backing off Accorsi's success.

I don't think the Super Bowl O-lines were very good. Luke Pettigout is not a left tackle. Eli never had good protection. Decent but not good.

I heard Boomer Esiason even say that spags has special teamers playing on defense so you know he was dealt a short hand. We have no difference, big play making players on defense. No pass rushers,no rangy heat-seeking linebackers.
Fragile corners. Lack of depth at corner. Fringe line backing corps. We don't have a ball-hawking free safety and Collins the rookie safety always seems to arrive one step late to the ball carrier. I like seeing guys who are always around the ball making stops.

I really think Reese is the problem. Eli makes non pass catching targets all look good. His whole career he's been throwing to less than legitimate receiving tight ends. We've neglected that position since Reese has been at the helm.
That's why I don't give Reese to much credit when it comes to drafting wide receivers which is the only position Reese's seems to have drafted well. Eli makes any target formidable.
All Reese does is miss in the draft. Nobody pans out.
In my opinion. It's sad because Eli's clock is ticking. He's never had a dominant offensive line. His receivers don't seem to make it to their second contract for him to have that unspoken rapport and long time familiarity with.

I think he's doing an adequate job.
The offensive line seems under-par.
I blame reese for that.
He drafts projects who don't have a true position but are versatile enough to use interchangeably. Which doesn't seem to be panning out to me.

I love spagnolo.
I think players play for him but I don't think he has personnel to work with.
I blame Reese for that.
