don't forget expansion.  Two scenarios:  add eight teams with one additional team in @ division  OR add four and re-shuffle into NFC east central and west, with AFC east central and west.  The latter is easier in terms of adding teams but awful with a major re-shuffle.  And yes I foresee teams outside the US...london, 1 or 2 in germany??, mexico city, maybe toronto, plus some more in US like San Antonio, etc.  I believe we will see something like one of those 2 scenarios above  happen within the next ten years.

you can massage a TE to play FB for those few downs where a FB might matter - or shift a back-up OL into that spot.  All you want to do is shove a guy back 5-6 feet, not make the pro bowl.

I just hope tubin and phillips can tackle.  in the nfl, DB's have to play the run too.     and that they can cover receivers - otherwise we just drafted two clones of darnay holmes.

there might be a late sleeper or project we could grab at QB in 5-7 this draft, [a devito but better], or pick up a vet minimum/cheap cut later for qb3.

it's all about the cap....pay the WR that kind of $$$ and some other player/group gets less.

if the first post is true, there might be some bidding up among interested teams.  TRADE DOWN.  I'd rather have 2 red chippers than a 'blue' chip bust, and those qb's have bust written all over them

someday the nfl will cap coaches and other team-related salaries too in the interest of pete rozelle's 'parity.'

I was a little kid.  Watched on tv with my Dad.  I cried.  All the other kids in the neighborhood wanted to be Johnny Unitas.  I still wanted to be Frank Gifford.  GO GIANTS.

we trade down a bit in round one and still get one of the 3 best wr's or a truly stud OL.  then with the other pick in the trade down, we get another starter.

 is everyone in the NY-NJ area all right??? [today's earthquake].  From the maps the epicenter appeared to be GIANTS Stadium [I still call it that] - a place which I often call 'the center of the universe.'  As long as no one was injured in this, I will take the tremor as a good omen of the power we will project in the 2024 season.  Best wishes to all.  Stay safe.
