A couple of JimV stories...

The Giants had drafted a Receiver back in the day and I liked the kid. His name was Ramses Barden. Well Jim said, "He's a bum, was a bum and always will be a bum.

We had a bet on a steak dinner.

Fast forward to a tailgate on a beautiful Fall day. I buy a dry aged, prime Porterhouse and grill it to perfection and never saw anyone enjoy a steak so much as Jim did that day.

First time I met Jim was at a tailgate with my brother and I think Rich. His first remark was, "Look at all these mustaches!" 😂

Jim would drive down from Maine on game day with family or a friend. This one time we start cleaning up and we're about to begin heading out to the stadium. I tell everyone as I always did to remember to bring your tickets. It was then that Jim realized he left his tickets at home. My brother and I being not too far from home offered our seats to him but then he was able to get his daughter to take a picture of his tickets and they were able to be scanned at the gate. That day, Jim and technology became good friends.
