Big Blue Huddle

I'm just looking forward to the day when our defense is able to stop players like Witten and Cooley from making all the plays against our defense that get them into the pro bowl. There is no excuse for  Witten to get 12 to 15 catches  every time we play the Cowboys and Cooley always has a good day too. I haven't figured this out yet, is it the scheme we're playing or do we just give him all the mid range stuff and figure he can't get the YAC or do we just not have the talent to stop him ...

LBer quality always matters and thats why I never could understand why some guys will say that LBers aren't very important anymore, I say quality LBers are critical to having a good defense .

didn't Fewell say when he was hired that he wasn't locked into any particular defense and that he would fit what he did to the talent available to him, if thats true then how does the media know what Fewell doesn't...

I would have taken Weatherspoon, I think he fits our defense and I like his motor and after that I wanted Sean Lee but none of that happened and until I see a reason for it I guess I will always wonder...

most of us are refugees from other boards and we're here for the same reasons, respect for each others thoughts and opinions whether we agree with them or not and thats what seems lacking on other boards. So if we can make this change and not lose any of the things that brought us here then I say do it....

I listened to Vick tell the world that he made a mistake and that he's now sorry, what mistake did he make, he murdered a lot of dogs in a very inhumane way and he meant to do it so where is the mistake...I also heard Chris Mortenson say that Goodell may even reinstate Vick by the first game of the season . Vicks apology sounded to me like he was reading something that was written for him, as far as I'm concerned the only thing he is sorry for is that he got caught and if he wasn't caught does anybody doubt that he'd still be doing the same things today....

this site was recommended to me by another poster because of the quality of the people who post on here. I think most of us have been on other boards and know what a bad site can be like...

I have been a Giant fan since the 60's and grew up in Jersey City where I was one the those typical smart ass wise guys always looking for trouble, you know the type. I have been married to the same girl who I met in my freshman math class in high school for over 50 years. My first experience with the Giants goes back to Yankee Stadium on a day when we were playing the Eagles and I was sitting in the end zone seats and clearly remember hearing the bone crack in Hopalong Cassidy's leg while trying to run the ball out of the end zone on a kickoff, it was snowing, raining and sleeting, typical Giants weather. Retired now and loving it and enjoying the class of guys who post on here.....
