Caught Gruden's show "They Fire Football Coaches Ass". He had on Jake Locker & Andy Dalton. I luv Gruden & would consider him a strong candidate to replace TC. Dalton & Locker r both sharp Prospects. Luv that jargin they throw around with such ease.
Really got a lesson on how to brake down QB tape. The reads, do's & don'ts, the execution that goes into a Play. Both QB's were terrific students for Chuckie to work with.
He worked them out a bit with a simple drill that showed what a QB has to do with ease. Huge emphasis on dropping back from being under Center. A bit of a lost art in College today that has to be flawless @ the next level.

Suspect Newton is gonna get his clock cleaned @ the next level, mentally & physically. Heard plenty of buzz re; his character as a "Me" guy.
Curious as to how he reacts after a LB buries his helmet in his chest while attempting to run up the gut?
zeph, agree with u, JR II.

Just runnin' this up the flagpole...I wouldn't be so quick to turn the page on Boothe. If Suey can't play this year & Petrus is an unknown (?), wouldn't Boothe be a prudent fallback? A Rook (even a well scouted Prospect selected in the early Rds.) has to still prove he's a Player, which is no guarantee. Boothe proved he can play G & C. Sign him for a one year deal with incentives.

Tom, thanks so much for hosting the event. The smell of great food hit us as soon as we got out of our car. What a feast! Great camaraderie. The portable fireplace was perfect.
Numerous comments by the Gang would have made the writers for Saturday Night Live jealous. Guess we noodled out how to solve the crowd noise....

The "Lets go Giants" chant late in the game was pretty funny.

Bleeder, copy that. I'm anticipating serious calorie overload...

Tom, Mark & myself will bring dessert.
Thank u so much for your hospitality. So kool of u to have us rendezvous @ your home.

Myself & Mark vote for tomeee's 2:00 pm tailgate rendezvous. Spoke to Mike Tyson, he'll be a game time decision (some legal matter re; bein' permanently barred from N.Y. ?)
Brad said he'll only show if Angelina can accompany him. i of course said "No way!"

Ed, how bout u throw out a quick check list?

A weekend that exceeded my wildest expectations. It all worked out, the effort (G-girl) really paid off.
Really magical, bein' plugged into the Board all afternoon, what dialogue! Superb camaraderie one & all.

Count me in for Fri. nite dinner.
I'm goin' to try to arrive early Fri. to catch the 2:35 - 4:35 Practice. My chart said that it was an autograph session(?) what ever that entails. If anyone else is up to speed on this, give me a shout.

Right off the hop, we play Skins, Girls, & Birds. Six games vs. TE's that can run & catch big-time.
I'm a little cloudy on this one. Whom exactly is runnin' vertically down the middle with these TE's in a Tampa two step? Please!
I'm all for blitzin' like crazy & playin' man. If we go down, go down swingin'.
#254
If the four man DL can't get sufficient pressure on the QB, we'll get toasted in the Tampa 2. We'll need a helluva' Mike for that Scheme, & that we ain't got.

You're a riot, a regualar riot....
