Noticed the comparisons to Sinorce Moss here so I found another post on another site and here goes .............

" I hope your not talking about Sinorice Moss...lol He was all upside, and very little on field production...  Do u guys even know these things, before u write em down...lol

Sinorice Moss Career at Miami= 57rec 965yrd 9td /  7rush 55yrd 0td  Thats his career!!!

Jerrell Jerrnigan Sr yr alone      = 84rec 822yrd 6td/  45rush 322yrd 3td  Thats just his SR Yr!!!

Jerrnigan for his career=  232recept 3128yrd 18td / 132rush 892yrd 5td and he had at least 2td passes and i don't have his return numbers..."

I say at least see the guy on the field before making such unfavorable comparisons ..........

Another person could look at those stats and easily tell you the story that Moss was clearly the more explosive player- 3 more TD's in 27 less catches...much higher ypc....

Anyway, the comparison is a bit unfair and I'm sorry I brought it up.  You're right- we need to see these guys on the field.

I'm not saying he won't be a good pro and I don't know enough about the guy.  I think my problem is that I was excited just a few years ago to get Moss, who I thought would do the things this guy is supposed to do.

And the fact that he broke records at Troy doesn't really impress me.  PSU just sent their all-time leading rusher to the Redskins in the 6th round.  This is a guy who amassed more yards than Curt Warner, Ki-Jana Carter, Lydell Mitchell, Lenny Moore, Curtis Enis, Larry Johnson, Blair Thomas....  Anyway, records can be deceiving and are not great indicators of future NFL success.

So glad that early in the draft we got a tiny WR to work out of the slot who is quick, explosive, and returns kicks.  Welcome to the G-men Sinori....  huh?  wha?  What year is this?   Redfaced

Not sure I like this pick.  I've followed this guy since he was one of the biggest high school football recruits.  His attitude has never been impressive and I don't like how he handled questions about his off-field issues last year, basically saying everyone does it and we just got caught...  And do we need another DL?  I would have rather seen an interior OL, a RT, a LB, or even Leshoure...

Anyway, I guess this means we have some interior offensive linemen targeted for free agency.

hmmm not sure about Doug.  I know he had injury issues and on top of that he was never a standout player.  He tore an ACL and missed a season at one point (the year Wiz started at center, I believe).  I don't think he would have ever been able to make an NFL roster even if he wanted it badly.

I have a question about the Penn St. player Stefan Wisniewski. How many games did he play in as starting Center in 2010? I thought that Doug Klopacz was the Center for that team but I know he had some injuries. How many games did Klopacz start and how many did Wisniewski start. I also seem to have read somewhere that Klopacz pushed Wisniewski to Guard at some point in their careers.

Ceri answered your questioned but just thought I'd add that Doug Klopacz didn't push Wiz anywhere at PSU.  They plugged Wiz wherever they felt was the weakest spot on the interior and he'd lock it down.  I really think he's good value in round 2 and would love to see him in Giants blue.  He's going to be a starter for 10+ yrs, barring injury.  One of those plug and play kinda guys.

I just don't see it with this guy.  I don't see him progressing through reads, I don't see him throwing with touch.  I see a big guy who can throw the ball a mile but maybe not 5 yards over a DL's hands, with timing and accuracy.  I don't see a guy that can throw a slant pass with timing.

I have been very wrong before and I definitely could be again with Cam, but if I were a GM I'd be very very nervous to take him near the top of the draft.  If Carolina goes for it, that would be one interesting situation where you'd have Clausen and Newton, pretty much polar opposites skillset wise.  I live in NC, so I'd kind've like to see how it plays out up close if it happens!

Personally, I don't think he even has the physical talents.  I see an athletic runner.  I don't see a gifted passer.  He's very much like Vince Young, who I've never been impressed with either.

Until baseball installs a salary cap, it's worthless to me.   :boooo:

1) Derrick Morgan
2)  Sean Lee
3)  J.D. Walton
4)  Thaddeus Gibson
5)  Mitch Petrus
6)  Jonathon Dwyer
7)  Matt Dodge

I like Morgan better than JPP.  I think we're fine at DT right now.  I like the Joseph pick, but I definitely would have gone with Lee.  Got a good center in round 3 and kept the guard in round 5.  Picked up some RB depth with great value in round 6.  I wanted 2 LB's out of this draft and I think Lee and Gibson would have been great additions!

Would LOVE to see Lee in Giants blue!  Only thing that scares me a bit is that would mean our first two picks have real, substantial question marks.  JPP's inexperience and Lee's injury history.  But both of those, if they work out, could be real steals.

Tape > Short Shuttle.

But good for JL.

I couldn't agree with this article more, and have said so much every time this topic comes up.  The short shuttle is the definitive LB agility test, especially for MLB.  That plus game tape gives you a great idea on a LB prospect.

So, has anyone figured out what akrd's problem is?  Seriously- why the relentless bashing?

I am bi-polar. Got a problem with that? If you need to call out posters after a win, you might as well be too.

Seriously, I could care less what you think of my opinion. But if you need to call me out how I express myself on a player or play-calling - you have deeper issues than I do. If you don't like what I have to say..... IGNORE ME!!!!

How hard is that to do?

If you are bipolar- seriously, take your meds.  I'm not saying that in any negative way, I have a brother-in-law that is bipolar and....meds are good.

Whether you are or are not, you might need to chill out a bit during games.  Relax.  Turn the computer off.  It's just a game.
