BBH Baseball Board / Re: NFT--YANKEES BASEBALL TALK

Simply stated it was a pleasure to watch the greatest NY shortstop in baseball history perform on the biggest stage in sports for 20 years. The fact that he never had a cringeworthy moment in his career was just a testament to the kids class. It will be a long time if ever that we see another player like him anytime soon and i look forward to his first ballot hall of fame coronation in July 2020.  =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

I'm going to give this a bump for now.   Depending on the interest shown I will either leave it on this board for a little longer or move to the baseball board.   So far I am encouraged by interest shown in the Yankee and Mets threads.   I hope it continues.

Webster, As a suggestion why not just leave the yankee and met threads  as a single thread for posters to add on to similar to what we do with the rangers. I imagine it will probably work the same with more action during the season and maybe now during free agency and not so much in the off season similar to the rangers. Unless you think its too much for the boards to have 3 separate threads unrelated to the giants. Just speaking for myself I enjoy the ease in just coming to the football site and posting there rather that chasing it somewhere else. I am a yankee fan but have rotisserie teams in both leagues therefore giving me a rooting interest in the mets also.

The biggest problem robertson will have is his propensity to throw a million pitches in an inning thereby limiting how many times he will be available in back to back and sometimes 3 games in a row where a closer is necesary to save  game  and he won't be available. For that reason alone I will be surprised if he lasts the season as the closer

Ed,
I say leave it as is. Just keep 1 thread per sport like we have now and add to it and not have multi threads. Like a lot of others on board I follow our other teams like rangers, knicks and yankees. I like it on our boards because you don't have the lunatics and a lot of the foul language like you have on other boards. You actually have good perspectives done in respectful manner. I don't think it has taken away from our giants news. My 2 cents.

It's been almost 7 days since the Giants have won a Super Bowl. What has TC done for us lately? I don't like the way he's handling the post Super Bowl situation. Everyone's going to be gunning for us, and I haven't heard a single word out of him about how he's preparing the team. Guy's getting way too complacent. Time to shake things up.

Every post is tweeted out to our over 1600 followers the title of this thread has reflected poorly on BBH.    No doubt this is all about sarcasm and is attempting to attack and criticize fans GoNets is apparently very angry with.  Although I did notice that anyone that called for Coughlin's firing did qualify it by saying if the team finishes out poorly.   Frankly this is a disappointing thread on many levels and I wish it hadn't been started.

This is what GoNet's posting did to our cyber reputation:

Look folks, you don't fire anyone who's just won the SB; got that?

Hey, Jerrah fired Jimmy Johnson right after winning the Superbowl and won it again 2 years later.

Somehow I don't think you can compare Jerrah to Mara-tisch ::)

I think this is the one topic that doesn't need to be addressed anymore till TC announces his retirement some day 3 to 5 years from now and in the condition he's in and with the energy of a 40 year old who's to say it won't be longer. The maras and tisch's love him. He has a Giant lifetime TC pass =D> =D> =D>

Yanks just make blockbuster trade with mariners trading Jesus Montero and Hector Noesi for Michael pineda and Jose Campos. Since no position besides dh for montero available this trade is a steal for the yanks. Can the prince for the dh spot be far behind
