The meme is a few days old (his birthday was June 28th) but the question is still valid

For me, it will always be "Blazing Saddles"
The joke I told yesterday was so funny that,
apparently, HR wants to hear it tomorrow  :laugh:

Those are my two favorites as well. For me I'd lean towards Young Frankenstein.

@Sem

For me, third on the list would be History of the World

That and Spaceballs are right up there.

Don't forget the old TV series Get Smart. I never missed in when I was a kid.

Spaceballs by a wide margin, although I liked them all.

But my favorite scene was not in Spaceballs. It was the Frankenstein monster singing "Puttin' on the Ritz."

IMO, you've got to have some kind of "way-out-there" imagination to come up with THAT idea.

If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

Slugsy-Narrows

Sadly his movies couldn't be made today in this messed up PC world!

I can't pick just one.  History of the World, Blazing Saddles are tied for me as his best!

Then Frankenstein and Spaceballs are tied as the next tier.

Maybe not top tier, but I do enjoy High Anxiety. PPNV, plus a lot of great Hitchcock pulls.

 Young Frankenstein and ten Blazing Saddles.

The scene with Peter Boyle (Frankenstein) and Gene Hackman as the blind guy who invites Frank in for dinner and smoke is what 'classic' was meant for.
