Two questions:

1) Why didn't they just test it with a weighted mannequin with the magnetic harness/vest instead of a human?

2) How did they get him back on the ground?

Good questions

I can see the daredevil aspect of it. Some people just need that to feel alive.

Maybe they reduced the magnetic field so he fall gently to the ground???

Tim: Although it was not mentioned, I'm fairly certain they did try a "dead weight" first, just to be sure.  Bob

I would certainly hope so. I also would imagine that if they offer this as an attraction for the public, what kind of waiver they would have potential patrons sign.
