There's evidence of Humans going back 160k years ago. Who knows how many times civilization has been reset due to cataclysmic events, Ice Ages and thaws and seismic activity. The Earth is 4.5 Billion years old so 100k is a sneeze.

It's sad that we know so little about our history and the battle between Clovis first Archaeologists and Geologists and their closed minds to explore any other theories such as the Younger Dryas.
