Thoughts/Reactions?  As you can imagine it's picked up some steam, particularly from some 49ers.

UHHHHH. NOOO the 49rs didnt have a healthy QB.  He had a macaroni elbow
A shame.  Made for a 1 sided event.   A good lesson for why Webb must be retained at QB

Hey Thibs. The equivalent of the 49ers to the Giants would be the Giants playing and being forced to choose between a concussed Mike Glennon or Davis Webb with an injured elbow on his throwing arm.

I am mindful that I am old and that I shouldn't judge the younger generation by my values.

That said, some NFL peers took exception to Thibs' trolling (Micah Parsons and
Arik Armstead) along with retired Joe Staley.

From my perspective, when you get your ass kicked (like Thibs had happen to him the weekend prior), it's best to shut your mouth and work to get better to the point where you would have the right to troll like he did.

Still, it's just some messing around on Twitter, so I don't think it really moves the needle for me.

Thibs looks like an ass here; Staley is a 6x Pro Bowl, 3x All Pro, and member of the All-Decade team...he has HoF credentials. Thibs does not...

Thibs sure talks big for a player who hasn't accomplished much and I still maintain my position that his play was overrated by fans. Hopefully he improves and learns to shut his mouth. Joe Staley is a much more accomplished player than Thibs so Thibs comes off as an arrogant misinformed rookie.

Ain't nothing to it but to do it!

Staley is correct. Thibs DOES get handled by individual Tackles

I agree with this post. I don't want to overreact, but I hope he doesn't make a habit out of tweets like this.

The Giants got completely outclassed and humiliated in their final game of the season. Thibodeaux personally did very little in the game. He might want to just shut up and figure out how he's going to attack the offseason and position himself to have a big 2nd year.

TONKA56

He's just like Micah Parsons, minus the big time production on the field.

GloryDays

His comment on tweeter about being better than the 9ers, knowing they had no QB, followed by the laugh emoji shows he was joking.

Ed Vette

Looks like we got ourselves an interesting character with some upside. Let's hope the upside's on the field.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Twitter world...

Thibs impact went well beyond his 4 sacks.
