The Safety and Interior line market are almost nonexistent while the RB, Edge, Dline, Wr, and CB markets still have some nice pieces.

nb587

I think safety is now a position of need.

Did I miss something...did S Chauncey Gardner-Johnson get signed somewhere. He should be at the top of the list
The joke I told yesterday was so funny that,
apparently, HR wants to hear it tomorrow

He's number 6.

This list as him at #6.  But I agree... probably should be right at the top.  That guy is good.

He should be number 1 or at worst, number 2 on the list

This is one of those bizarre years where our needs don't match up well with what's available in free agency or the draft. No one on that list moves the needle for me.

It's just the 20 best remaining prospects overall in no particular order, as Devin Singletary isn't better than Kareem Hunt etc.

Makes sense then

I'm surprised they didn't try and sign Leonard Floyd for the 474636 time.

To add to the topic, here is Walter Football's list of FA CBs

Jamel Dean, CB, Buccaneers. Age: 26.
Re-signed with Buccaneers (4 years, $52 million)

Jamel Dean is an excellent cornerback with a bright future ahead of him at the age of 26. He was sorely missed in the playoff loss to the Cowboys.

Byron Murphy, CB, Cardinals. Age: 25.
Signed with Vikings (2 years, $22 million)

Byron Murphy is a talented cornerback who somehow is only 25. He missed eight games last year, but missed just two other contests in his career.

James Bradberry, CB, Eagles. Age: 30.
Re-signed with Eagles (3 years, $38 million)

James Bradberry had a down year with the Giants, yet he rebounded spectacularly with the Eagles in 2022. He was a true shutdown cornerback across from Darius Slay, another shutdown corner.

Marcus Peters, CB, Ravens. Age: 30.
Marcus Peters is a stellar cornerback. He just turned 30, but he should still have one or two more great seasons remaining in the tank.

Sean Murphy-Bunting, CB, Buccaneers. Age: 26.
Sean Murphy-Bunting is an excellent slot cornerback, but he's had trouble staying healthy recently. He's missed 12 games in the past two years.

Jonathan Jones, CB, Patriots. Age: 29.
Re-signed with Patriots (2 years)

Jonathan Jones is a talented cornerback who can play well outside and in the slot. The only downside is that he'll turn 30 during the second year of his contract.

Rock Ya-Sin, CB, Raiders. Age: 27.
Rock Ya-Sin hasn't played a full season in his career, missing 10 games in the past two years. It's a shame because he's a talented cornerback.

Cameron Sutton, CB, Steelers. Age: 28.
Signed with Lions (3 years, $33 million)

Cameron Sutton is coming off an excellent year despite not having T.J. Watt assisting him by rushing the passer for half the season.

Shaq Griffin, CB, Jaguars. Age: 28.
Shaq Griffin is coming off a down year because of a back injury, but he was a solid cornerback beforehand. He's young enough to rebound.

Patrick Peterson, CB, Vikings. Age: 33.
Signed with Steelers (2 years)

Patrick Peterson had some poor moments in recent years, but he did very well to bounce back last season. Peterson was great, but there's a good chance he could regress now that he's 33.

Jason Verrett, CB, 49ers. Age: 32.
Jason Verrett is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL when healthy. Unfortunately, the "when healthy" part is extremely rare. Verrett missed all of 2022.

Emmanuel Moseley, CB, 49ers. Age: 27.
Signed with Lions (1 year, $6 million)

Emmanuel Moseley is a quality slot cornerback, though he tore his ACL in early October.

Bradley Roby, CB, Saints. Age: 31.
Bradley Roby has been an incredibly inconsistent receiver throughout his career. He's coming off a down year, so perhaps that means he'll bounce back in 2023.

Bryce Callahan, CB, Chargers. Age: 31.
Bryce Callahan used to be a stellar slot cornerback, but constant injuries have weighed down his career.

Troy Hill, CB, Rams. Age: 32.
Troy Hill returned from his one-year hiatus with the Rams to perform well while on the field. However, Hill has missed five games in each of the past two seasons.

Duke Shelley, CB, Vikings. Age: 26.
Minnesota found something in Duke Shelley late in the year. He's young, but undersized, so it remains to be seen if he can continue his solid play.

Eli Apple, CB, Bengals. Age: 28.
Eli Apple tends to be a feast-or-famine player. He was great during the 2021 Super Bowl run, but struggled more this past year.

Ronald Darby, CB, Broncos. Age: 29.
Ronald Darby is a talented cornerback, but he can't stay healthy. He's coming off a torn ACL.

William Jackson, CB, Steelers. Age: 30.
Levi Wallace, CB, Steelers. Age: 28.
Fabian Moreau, CB, Giants. Age: 29.
Rashad Fenton, CB, Falcons. Age: 26.
Will Harris, CB, Lions. Age: 27.
Mike Hughes, CB, Lions. Age: 26.
Jalen Mills, CB/S, Patriots. Age: 29.

Anthony Brown, CB, Cowboys. Age: 29.
Chandon Sullivan, CB, Vikings. Age: 27.
Antonio Hamilton, CB, Cardinals. Age: 30.
Sidney Jones, CB, Raiders. Age: 27.
Tre Herndon, CB, Jaguars. Age: 27.  -- Re-signed with Jaguars
Isaiah Oliver, CB, Falcons. Age: 27.  -- Signed with 49ers
Nik Needham, CB, Dolphins. Age: 26.  -- Re-signed with Dolphins
Chris Harris Jr., CB, Saints. Age: 34.
Artie Burns, CB, Seahawks. Age: 28.
Kyle Fuller, CB, Ravens. Age: 31.
Byron Jones, CB, Dolphins. Age: 30.
Joshua Kalu, CB, Titans. Age: 28.
Lonnie Johnson, CB, Titans. Age: 27.
Mike Ford, CB, Falcons. Age: 28.
Tavierre Thomas, CB, Texans. Age: 27.  -- Re-signed with Texans
Greedy Williams, CB, Browns. Age: 25.  -- Signed with Eagles

Anthony Averett, CB, Raiders. Age: 28.
Terrance Mitchell, CB, Titans. Age: 31.
Justin Coleman, CB, Seahawks. Age: 30.
Brandon Facyson, CB, Colts. Age: 28.  -- Signed with Colts
Amani Oruwariye, CB, Lions. Age: 27.
T.J. Carrie, CB, Panthers. Age: 33.
Tarvarius Moore, CB, 49ers. Age: 27.  -- Signed with Packers
Kris Boyd, CB, Vikings. Age: 26.
Corey Ballentine, CB, Packers. Age: 27.
Josh Jackson, CB, Cardinals. Age: 27.
Isaac Yiadom, CB, Saints. Age: 27.
Tevaughn Campbell, CB, Jaguars. Age: 30.  -- Re-signed with Jaguars
Joejuan Williams, CB, Patriots. Age: 25.
Greg Mabin, CB, Titans. Age: 29.
C.J. Board, CB, Titans. Age: 29.
Cornell Armstrong, CB, Falcons. Age: 28.  -- Re-signed with Falcons

Darius Phillips, CB, Broncos. Age: 27.
Jalen Davis, CB, Bengals. Age: 27.
Davontae Harris, CB, Titans. Age: 28.
C.J. Goodwin, CB, Cowboys. Age: 33.  -- Re-signed with Cowboys

I am surprised some of these guys are still available but I guess it all depends on what they see as their value compared to what teams see.

Leonard Floyd has averaged almost 10 sacks/year for the last 3 years.  Guys like that usually disappear quickly, even if they are 30.

MightyGiants

One other list of interest from WF

Jason Kelce, C, Eagles. Age: 35.
Re-signed with Eagles

Jason Kelce said he would retire after the season, which is a shame because he's one of the best offensive linemen in the entire NFL.

Ethan Pocic, C, Browns. Age: 28.
Re-signed with Browns (3 years, $18 million)

Ethan Pocic had a rough start to his career, but he developed nicely and was dominant last year until suffering an injury. He was sorely missed when he was sidelined.

Ben Jones, C, Titans. Age: 34.
Ben Jones has been one of the better centers in the NFL, but he's 34 now. Centers can play well into their mid-30s, but Jones should decline soon.

Garrett Bradbury, C, Vikings. Age: 28.
Re-signed with Vikings (3 years, $15.75 million)

Garrett Bradbury had a very rough start to his career, but he finally lived up to his first-round billing last year. He was sorely missed toward the end of the season when he was injured.

Connor McGovern, C/G, Jets. Age: 30.
Connor McGovern is a solid starting interior lineman. He can play both guard and center.

Jon Feliciano, C/G, Giants. Age: 31.
Jon Feliciano was a nice signing for the Giants last offseason, as he helped bolster Daniel Jones' pass protection. Feliciano is solid, but unspectacular, though he can play both center and guard.

 Jake Brendel, C, 49ers. Age: 30.
Re-signed with 49ers (4 years)

Jake Brendel did a solid job as a replacement for Alex Mack, who retired before the season. He was better in pass protection than run blocking.

Graham Glasgow, C/G, Broncos. Age: 31.
Signed with Lions (1 year)

Graham Glasgow is a mediocre blocker, but he's a versatile player who can start at guard and center.

Austin Blythe, C, Seahawks. Age: 31.
Announced retirement

Austin Blythe was a decent pass protector last year, but struggled to open up running lanes. He's as mediocre as it gets.

Corey Levin, C, Titans. Age: 29.
Bradley Bozeman, C, Panthers. Age: 28.  -- Re-signed with Panthers
Wes Schweitzer, C, Redskins. Age: 29.  -- Signed with Jets
Tyler Larsen, C, Redskins. Age: 32.  -- Re-signed with Redskins
Rodney Hudson, C, Cardinals. Age: 34.
Pat Elflein, C, Panthers. Age: 29.
Billy Price, C, Cardinals. Age: 27.
Will Clapp, C, Chargers. Age: 26.
Nick Allegretti, C, Chiefs. Age: 27.
Kyle Fuller, C, Seahawks. Age: 29.
Michael Deiter, C, Dolphins. Age: 26.
Austin Schlottman, C, Vikings. Age: 27.  -- Re-signed with Vikings
Nick Martin, C, Redskins. Age: 30.
