With such a complicated mish-mosh, no wonder it takes so long to work out major deals for QB's.  Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

Interesting how he has incentives to increase his income as it's directly related to his performance yet when he hasn't performed to these levels, it's someone else's fault.

Ed: NFL football will never cease to be a team game, but you've made a good point. Bob

What wasn't noticed by most is that this contract is a leap of faith for both sides.   The Giants side has faith that Jones will continue to improve, while Jones has faith that Schoen and company will continue to improve the cast around him.

True Blue

I am perfectly fine with these incentives

Hopefully he hits them, no reason at all that he should be able to hit most of those second tiers of incentives.

25 Pass TDs, 3800 Pass Yards, with 575 rush yards and a single rush TD with his legs, those incentives are very fair, very doable, and a reasonable expectation from him as far as his production. Although I would hope he does a few more than 26 total TDs, the outlined stats would be a acceptable level of improvement

If they had faith, they wouldn't have put it in. He'll hit some of those incentives over four years if he's still with the Giants but it's not $35 MM a year. It's potentially 8.75 MM a year. I'll be thrilled if they win at least one SB over 4 years.

There's $1.250 million that he will absolutely hit this year and they kicked the can on that cap hit.
