We can hope.  However such hope is tempered by the appreciation that going from protecting against the Cardinals front 7 to the 49ers front 7 is akin to facing a baseball team's farm club and then facing their major league team.

Glowinski who was a punching bag after the Dallas game played very well.  Same goes for Neal.  Hope that doesn't get lost.

Considering Glowinski was benched (as well as the putrid performance that got him benched), he deserved those blows.

Then he deserves praise for his performance this week and an apology for the unfair questioning his commitment to the team due to his personal life.

Fair enough but then we can say the same about all of the good things that happened in the second half for us, not just O line play.

Also, this Cardinal pass rush did manage something like six sacks last week.

So schmitz was basically the top ranked center in the league in terms of giving up pressures? we might have a true gem on our hands.

One interesting thing.  PFF credits JMS for giving up a sack, while ESPN gave him a perfect pass-blocking grade.

They played better. Four of the five OL were Schoen draft picks, and one was a FA signing.

A lot better than it was, but not good enough because Parsons would have wrecked us.
