Defensive Back: Deonte Banks, Giants

Deonte Banks was tested during his rookie season in 2023. He was targeted 78 times, which was 11th-most in the league. However, teams only completed half their passes thrown his way. His 39 Total Points was 3rd-best among rookie CBs and his 14 Total Points against the run was best among rookie CBs and 11th-best among all CBs.

I don't know much about SIS but this is great to see. Their eyeballs see what I have seen and what PFF does not.
"It's extra special against Dallas. That's absolutely a team I can't stand. I've been hating Dallas ever since I knew anything about football." - Brandon Jacobs

They are a sports analytic company.  Here is a quick bio of the guy who heads their football division

Matt Manocherian joined the company in 2016 as a football consultant and assumed the position of Director of Football Development the following year. He has overseen the expansion of its football operation, which has seen tremendous growth and is at the forefront of football scouting, data, and analytics. In 2018, Manocherian also took on the role of Director of Research before being promoted to Vice President in 2020.

Prior to joining Sports Info Solutions, Manocherian spent six seasons as a scout for the New Orleans Saints and the Cleveland Browns following his graduation from Duke University in 2008. Matt received his Masters in Sports Management from Columbia University and currently serves as an adjunct professor teaching Gridiron Analytics and Basketball Analytics to graduate students at New York University.
