VSB signings like this are come in to camp and compete. Wait for the guarantee $ to see if we expect to keep him (eg Olszewski) vs. will take a look (Mackenzie). Holmes has ST value so that, not NCB, is likely where he is fighting for a roster spot.

You need depth. and special teamers. yeah hes not great but he's a body and guy thats familiar with the team. at least its just a 1 year deal.
