In this movie you see, while the Beatles are performing on the roof, some London policemen come a calling. In the other movie, Get Back, they explain the reason for them being there. Since this performance on the roof really wasn't planned that way. They got up there and started singing and playing. One lady who lived right there called the police complaining all the noise was ruining her afternoon nap. The Bobby came up and was sort of ushered away. He called his sergeant and then several Bobbies came up there to investigate this unannounced concert. It was very funny, the legendary Beatles were performing and the police wanted to intervene because some woman's nap time was being disturbed.

Has anyone watched "Baby Reindeer" on Netflix?

Very creepy and disturbing, but also very good. It's also unclear how much of it is actually true (nobody seems to know for sure other than perhaps the real people involved). Very mysterious, unsettling, disturbing series.

I highly recommend it if those kinds of shows are your kind of thing. If you can't handle some off-putting scenes, stay far, far away.

Not a bad gig for an 18 year old, or at least he was when recording began for Let it Be in 1968.

I get your point Lenn, but if you're doing these rankings you have to put the rookies somewhere if they're expected to be starters.

I'm not saying these rookie rankings are going to be accurate, but I'm not sure you should just automatically put them all at the dead bottom of the league if you're trying to give your forecast of where you think they'll be. I think the writer is making a speculative assessment here. He may be wrong in his assessment obviously, but just automatically ranking them at the bottom solely because they're rookies doesn't seem like the best approach to me.

You put a lot of effort into this post. Much appreciated. I also liked the movie very much but I wouldn't call it a masterpiece and far from his best work. Pulp Fiction is far and away a better movie and is always listed among the best movies ever made.
I really didn't notice most of the things you mentioned and when I do rewatch it, I will definitely look for them.

It's funny, when I did watch this movie, I thought to myself, WOW a Tarantino movie with any blood. I hadn't gotten to the ending when I was thinking that. Foolish me.

Brock Purdy at #2 lol.  C'mon now.  This is silly, Jones is no good in my opinion, but how do they put guys who haven't even played an NFL snap yet on this list. 

Let's reevaluate in January.  That said, I was done with Jones on the opening drive against Dallas last season.  He won't be our starter I don't think anyhow.

He may also be better than Brissett. Is he definitely, 100%, decisively better than Brissett? Possibly, but I'm not sure. I'd say probably, but I don't think it's some runaway, obvious thing.

He is very likely better than some of these incoming rookies, but we don't know that for sure yet, nor do we know which ones.

The rest of the QBs on this list, I'm sorry, but I don't see the evidence that Jones is clearly better than them. Could that change this year? Sure it could - these rankings are fluid. But right here, right now, I'm just not sure that that's the case.

Good post. Also, I think this is why tiers are better than numerical rankings. A bunch of these guys can be shifted around based on how they played in their last game (which is fair for a power ranking).

If there's a tier for QBs who can't be trusted to run a functional offense against a good defense in a playoff game, half the QBs would fall into that category.  If there's a tier for QBs who can't be trusted to run a functional offense against a solid defense in the regular season, is Daniel Jones in that tier? He's entering year 6 and still has to prove he can be a consistent lower-end starter from one year to the next.

Another woman I wouldn't call a "rocker" (more of the disco era) with incredible pipes - Amii Stewart, who never became particularly famous, but she could belt it out with the best of them. I remember years ago watching American Idol and thinking most of the contestants were pretty good. Then one day, driving down the highway, this song came on, and it amazed how much more talented this girl on the radio was compared to those competing on American Idol for a million dollars and a contract...yet, she had a really short career (as far as I know). Anyway, listen to her hit controlled high notes at around 2:35 or so. That ain't human
