Yes, it makes sense for them, but not for the GIANTS to have let him go without a practice squad signing. Beasley is now on the practice squad/injured list and won't be eligible for elevation to the active roster for at least four games.  I have understood and agreed with most of the personnel decisions but Beasley over Crowder is a head scratcher for me.

Maybe they got their Crowders confused? Or a victim of nepotism.
