I saw instances where his jams at LOS were easily defeated and missed tackles where some bulk might have helped him.

I think he should shut his mouth.

Quote from: madbadger on May 22, 2024, 03:52:26 PMWhat does it matter? I can't recall a single time watching him play and thinking to myself he would have made that play if he was 15 pounds heavier.

As a string bean he may not be anle to press any WR.

Quote from: Jclayton92 on May 21, 2024, 07:14:20 PMMy real concern is RG. Whoever man's thar spot is between JMS and Neal. Eluemunor has been a significantly better tackle than guard, but I guess he goes to RG, but if we need him for a failed Neal then there is no answer at RG that isn't Stinnie.

I do however think Neal has been injured both his seasons, and from the information coming out recently he was severely injured both his rookie and 2nd year while playing which limited his movement significantly. So hopefully being completely health and having a new oline coach do wonders for him.

Jess - I'll be very disappointed if their best RT is playing RG.  That simply can't happen.  It's got to be the best 5 at their positions and to establish it early so they get reps.

Soft camps.  Soft play in opening games.

Rinse, repeat.

If you don't see this coming, I dont know what to say.

Quote from: DaveBrown74 on May 21, 2024, 05:02:36 PMOur O line was never good when OBJ was on the Giants. It has been varying degrees of bad since the 2012 season.

But not 85 sacks bad and through the roof pressure rates.

If Nabers gets normal NFL time to run a route, he wins in most cases.

Quote from: Jclayton92 on May 20, 2024, 05:42:09 PMNabers, and Wandale were on the field together from what I can tell.

Theo caught a few balls

What WR positions is what I want to know.

Kyle Hamilton went from superstar prospect with great film to over analyzed he ate something bad for breakfast prospect.

It is not hard to figure out talent.  Teams need to stop flying so low as draft comes up and lift head to see a broader perspective.

He's not so special that if the OL only allows a very short amount of time before a QB gets hit that he will be effective.  NFL CBs can tie him early for a split second to screw up any effectiveness.  It's about the OL.

Everyone remember the Tyker Linderbaum debate here?

Pro Tyler said his technique was flawless.  Wrestling taught him proper leverage.

Anti- Tyler said he's too small.  Will never be big enough to handle NFL nose and DTs.

Jury has reached a verdict......

What WR spot does Nabers play primarily?  If he's slot, where does Robinson play?

Who are the 5 OL and do they establish starters early?

Does Theo Johnson become an impact player at TE?

Who gets most reps at 3 tech?

Do Nubin and Philipps become early starters

Quote from: Jclayton92 on May 19, 2024, 03:18:35 PMIt also matters where it happened even though it shouldnt. I grew up in Mississippi but spent the past 12 years of my life in Los Angeles. I go back to the Southeast for work and Mississippi when going to most of the Ole Miss games in the fall and the law is completely different.

Los Angeles cops have to deal with so much that they aren't so petty. They aren't going to pull over someone for a failed signal, tag light being out, or anything small/petty.

Mississippi/Southeast cops I have found will find any minor infraction or reason to pull someone over.

These cops were clearly not prepared for what they were dealing with and over reacted to the situation. You would likely have not seen the same reaction to something so insignificant or the rush to detain and arrest if this had been in or around a major metropolitan area.

Just my opinion though.

Well said.
