This evening I watched "U.S.S. Indianapolis,,,"  I knew about the tragic story of the ship & its crew but not the details.  I'm not  a fan of Nicolas Cage who's the star but he did OK.  The true story is compelling.   And, not knowing the entire story, the ending was shocking to me.  I recommend it.
How can a ship be out of touch with communications for four days?

Last night we watched a very interesting movie, "Lion" starring an entire Indian cast except for  Nicole Kidman, Rooney Mara and a couple of other sort of unknowns. As I said, it was a very interesting movie, that I am still wondering about.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3741834/

It is an Australian made movie about a 5 year old Indian boy who goes off with his brother and gets lost on a train that takes him 1500 miles away from home. Thru a series of events he goes to an orphanage and is adopted by Kidman and husband in Australia. He grows up and 25 years later, and after some prodding, he wants to find his family in India. BTW it is a true story.

Myself, I found the movie a bit boring at the beginning, but it does pick up steam in the second half. You have to understand there is NO action, no fights, nothing being blown up, just a sort of human interest story that sort of grabs you and doesn't let go. In the end, I liked it and my DW more than me. It is a bit slow and sort of depressing in parts, but if you hand in there you will be rewarded with a real heartwarming movie.

I would recommend this movie to all, but young children just will not understand what is going on. It is suitable for older children and up. A good watch especially for adults.

PS  It is named Lion as that is what the main characters name translates to.

I saw this too. I enjoyed it and yes it is slow moving.

Thanks to Bob, Brian and Rich for doing a great job preparing and covering the topics. It's was Bob's first time with us and he was terrific! Sometimes I throw questions out there on the fly and these guys know their Giants and their football.

I am curious.  What have the Giants done or said that would be considered "telegraphing"?  About 100% of the media stuff surrounding Draft picks are articles like Ranaan's.
If you read the article closely, Jordan is basing his so-called "prediction" on two things: Reese was at his Pro Day and talks with league sources.  There is no "inside" leak from anyone in the Giants' organization that he has referred to.  Besides, what scout would spill the beans to a reporter like Ranaan that they are focusing in on Cunningham?

As others have alluded to - this is just one of many predictions that will be focusing on who the Giants might draft.  But if the truth be told, Ranaan doesn't know anymore about who the Giants are going to draft than anyone on this Board.

Yes and they don't even know yet.

I would have said no way the Giants pick an LB #1 but after hearing the love John Mara has for Flowers, LB may be their No. 1 priority   :surprise:

Yeah, I don't get this either. I would expect seven other positions picked before Linebacker. Do any of you draftnics have Cunningham ahead of McCaffrey or Garett Bolles in your First Round Grades?

It's relates to the Holy Trinity but think new age, not Christianity.

We saw the Shack last week. I liked it very much but Linda thought it was just ok. Not for everyone.

We saw The Lion King in 3D Imax surround sound. It was delightful. I don't know if it would be better or worse at home or on the regular screen theater.

Ed:

I use the Windows' snipping tool to capture screenshots from the NFL Gamepass "coaches film," then add the illustrations with Paint. Semi low-tech.

Let's credit them then.

The play started with recognizing the RG pull that negated his double team as the Center now has to pick up Hankins. Collins took the wrong initial step and exposed his outside shoulder. It's also an example of well executed team work by the Giants. Good breakdown, Matt. Where are you getting the photography from?

It's also how a team grades the player. If they don't fit the system, the grade for one team will be lower than a team the player does fit, like LB or DL. Also, a team picking in the low first round will pick a second round player if the grades are close.

By rounds 5-7 and sometimes 4-7, teams look at filling needs or backup or Special Teams. Especially in rounds 5-7. So, BPA does not apply. As I see Rich just mentioned.

Here is a good example of what the article is talking about in this nice evaluation of Gareon Conley and his use of hands. It's a make or break for a Defensive Back.
