Luck. For the longest time I have always used the word HEIST as my starting word.
A couple of weeks ago I decided to start using different words to start. I decide what the word will be by watching the local morning news and read whatever is scrolling on the bottom of the screen and when a 5 letter word appears I decide if that will be my word of the day.

Today,for a couple of reasons, I found myself up at 2 in the morning. Didn't turn the TV on wanting to stay as quiet as possible so not to wake anyone. So I sat in my chair and opened up wordle. I said to myself "well I wonder what nifty little word they will use today and NIFTY just stuck in my head. An easy eagle showed up 🤣
