Nice to see. Waller is a charismatic, likeable guy who has been through hell and back as a person. He's also a hell of a talent. I think he has a lot of credibility as a leader on this team, at least on the offense.

Quick note here: I had #Giants QB Daniel Jones 12 of 17 with 5 touchdowns in 11-on-11 drills.

Two of those scores came inside the five yard line when repping red zone. Keep that in mind. He was 8 of 11 with two touchdowns in 11-on-11 drills outside the 25 yard line.

"He was going crazy," WR Isaiah Hodgins said of his quarterback.

Jones was also 6 of 7 with two touchdowns in 7-on-7 drills.

Quite the bounce back after yesterday.

Pair of Daniel Jones touchdowns. Both to Darius Slayton.

First one was a long one — 25 yards over the middle. Good play design & job by Jones looking off safeties to free Slayton.

Second was closer — 5-ish yards. Jones stepped up, rolled left and found Slayton in back corner. Better catch than throw there.

Jones is 8 of 11 passing in full team drills so far, highlighted by those two TDs. He missed Slayton deep for another would-be score (underthrow) and does have a near INT on one he forced (Barnes dropped it) for Hyatt over middle. #Giants #Lions

"Looking off safeties".....I can't stress enough how much different he looks from the naked eye when he does this.

Good stuff by our QB

Mind you that DOT was on the move as well.

Waiting for the naysayers that was saying that Giants were outmatched, outclassed, dominated or whatever term they'd like to use.  I want to see how twitter-verse would like to spin this day 2 of practice.  Just goes to show that after all this and what the team has done through these training camp that there are still DJ trolls lurking our there.

You wake up a sleeping Giant, you better be prepared to face the consequences.

Like what 4 Aces pointed out yesterday - Dabes and Dan run two different types of camp.  But it was good that our boys got a taste of that yesterday.  Its how they respond that will tell us how good this team really is.

Although DJ threw 3 TDs on 7 on 7s, by far the best play of the day that will get us out of are seats is this...

Bottom line, DJ needs to get his timing down because he's gonna have to get used to throwing to faster and quicker WRs.  He needs to throw earlier or lead them better.  If they get this kink worked out, he will have his pickings because with the the weapons he has at his disposal, someone will always be open.

Peart actually turning into a cheap serviceable swing tackle is music to my ears.

I think if they ever gave Belton reps opposite Mckinney he would force a ton of turnovers.

Can't agree more about Peart.  Such a huge need, I'd say 2nd most important backup position on the team outside of QB.

The music to my ears also was seeing that rookie Tae Banks did at least a serviceable (and maybe even....gasp...good) job on a guy I think is one of the best WRs in the entire league, Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Thanks so much for posting these here, I really look forward to reading them.   :ok:  :ok:

Looks like Jordan Riley, Corbin, Owens, Belton, and JMS shined today.
