How about TE Bob Tucker? Signed as a free agent out of the Atlantic Coast League in 1970. First TE to lead the NFL in pass receptions. 1st Team all-pro in 1972. Traded to Vikings in 1977.

I'm not suggesting he's the best Giant running back ever, probebly not even in the top 5 or 6. But does anyone else out there think that the name Rob Carpenter should show up somewhere in this thread?
