I cant wait to watch Nabers play.  Injust hope it's with real blocking and throwing and timely playcalling.

I dont want Dans to be a teacher.  I want his coaches to be teachers.  I want Dabs to have great organizational skills, strategize brilliantly and lead in a way that the team follows him.

Think his weight for his height is more relevant than weight for his position.  Most CBs I think are not 6'1"+

He needs to perform this year though, one way or another. While I agree that the Giants need to explore other spots on the line if he continues to be a bust at OT, this team also has a history of clinging to, accepting underperfomance from, and making excuses for picks they had high aspirations for that, in reality, simply weren't the players they thought they were. This happened with Will Hernandez, Lorenzo Carter, and a host of others in recent times that I'd rather not have to name because it's not a very pleasant topic.

I say work him to death with reps at RT wibut experiment early with him at RG.  See what you see.

Play him through first four games at RT and see how he plays. If he fails at RT yank him out of there.

If he becomes a good guard on another team and Giants never saw that, shame on the Giants.

Being slight doesn't preclude him from being a respectable or even good player, but it is clearly not an advantage, either. We should keep in mind that it's not like we took this guy in the top 15 overall though. Mid third round is not typically where you find high-end starting corners. Maybe he's just a solid depth guy. If that's what he ends up being, I'd say that's not a bad outcome at all for a corner taken outside of the top 80 overall.

What I think it affects is his ability to hold onto a jam or press long enough and also in his tackling having less mass.

Right.  BFW brings up the average a lot by himself yet he is nowhere near being a productive player on the team — at least not yet.

Big difference to me being a WR at 6'1" 177 vs a CB at that size.  WR receives violent hits but has tools such as ducking, twisting, going down to avoid sometimes the worst.

A CB has to initiate violence which means more direct straighline attack so his reduced mass is more of an issue.

I am not sure how I feel about what he said.  What is there to teach Andrew Thomas?  Line him up at LT and get him reps.

Why bounce people around so much now?  Give them 1 position to become an expert then teach others later.

Belton has always seemed ill-suited to play any type of free safety role.  He played the Cash (hybrid LB/SS) role in college.  I see him and Pinnock as more similar players therefore I believe Nubin will eventually replace Belton.

Why do teams switch players to different sides just to see?  Why dont they simply ask the player "what is your best side for comfort and effectiveness then play them there?
