I see a lot of bemoaning about keeping politics out of sports by people on a sports forum talking about a whole lot of politics.

Sure...you know this how?  What evidence have you reviewed?  Oh the evidence released by main stream media?  The same media that spewed Trump hatred for almost 5 years.  Unbiased, fair and balanced you say.  Meanwhile votes where being counted for weeks, after hours, after certain people were sent home.  Nothing to see here.  Just because they don

Wow.  That couldn't have been better stated.  Interestingly we won't know if there truly was fraud that could have changed the election until actual and factual investigations are done.  There wasn't enough time to investigate and there certainly won't be a fair investigation under the new administration.  Which is exactly why no one can truthfully state whether it happened or not.  I believe fraud happened and it effected the outcome.  But I can not state it as a fact.  It's my opinion.  It's the same for anyone stating the contrary.
It is actually not that interesting. There was not any massive voter fraud. The prewidential election was not stolen. These are facts whether you wish to accept them or not.

Anyone stating anything other than this is an unwitting puppet. Truly sorry if this includes you.

Nice birdwalk there slugs but the issue is voter fraud. Does it exist in such a fashion as it requires new legislation to fix?  The answer is simply no.

These lawmakers are actually quite smart. They are using people dumb enough to believe the big lie that the last election was stolen through fraud in order to establish laws that allow them to keep control. This is despicable and un American.

Here's an accurate and sobering way to think about this:  if Georgia Repiblicans had the power in the last election that they just gave themselves for the next, would they have used/abused it to tilt the outcome?  I'd have a very hard time believing they wouldn't have.

Guys, the water thing is a distraction.

While I support the move it saddens me that it's just another example of the fact that the only thing that will change politicians minds is money. Not the desires of the majority of people they represent. We are forced to rely on corporations to do the right thing for those in power to listen.

Me too-  thanks for the multiple trips down memory lane!  This was a special team!

I can't wait for you guys to get a good, long look at PSU's Saquon Barkley.  Obviously, as a PSU guy I watch every game- and this guy is the best RB prospect I've seen since Ki-Jana Carter out of PSU.  He is the total package of strength, speed, agility, vision, pass-catching, blocking, and passion for the game.  Put up 200+ as a true freshman against the national championship Ohio State team (in their house).  He's a human highlight reel and the hardest worker on the team.

I pray he does not get injured so his career can be what it should be.   :D

Beirut, your guy Goodwin ran a smoking fast 4.42 today and pulled off a 36-inch vert. :what:
Measured 6'-1" & tipped dah scales at 209 lbs. Nice body of work as well!
Good get Bro! =D>

He's a stud!  I selfishly wish he'd have stayed but it's obvious he's ready for the next level.

Just wait until next year, though....the PSU name I'm sure you already know but others will soon enough- Saquon Barkley.  I've watched a lot of college football in my life and Barkley is on a different level than I've ever seen.  Behind a subpar line, even.  He's a junior next year and he'd be an idiot not to come out early.

I don't want the G-men to take a WR in the 1st round, but if they do I hope they take PSU's Godwin, who is having a hell of a combine.  Having watched this kid in all of his games I can tell you he really came on this year- especially his hands.  In 1-on-1 situations he just ends up with the ball, plain and simple.  Fast, very natural hands, and big.  He'd be the perfect complement to OBJ and in my opinion may wind up being the steal of the draft if he slips past the 1st round.  Very smart, hard worker too.  And, as a bonus, he's been working with Calvin Johnson to prep for the next level.

The other junior PSU player, Garret Sickels, is undersized for the next level and didn't show me any kind of consistent excellence this year.

I'd like Bill O'Brien if he was interested in leaving the Texans.

As much as his exit has soured all of us, it has to be Tiki Barber.  Has to be.

Noticed the comparisons to Sinorce Moss here so I found another post on another site and here goes .............

" I hope your not talking about Sinorice Moss...lol He was all upside, and very little on field production...  Do u guys even know these things, before u write em down...lol

Sinorice Moss Career at Miami= 57rec 965yrd 9td /  7rush 55yrd 0td  Thats his career!!!

Jerrell Jerrnigan Sr yr alone      = 84rec 822yrd 6td/  45rush 322yrd 3td  Thats just his SR Yr!!!

Jerrnigan for his career=  232recept 3128yrd 18td / 132rush 892yrd 5td and he had at least 2td passes and i don't have his return numbers..."

I say at least see the guy on the field before making such unfavorable comparisons ..........

Another person could look at those stats and easily tell you the story that Moss was clearly the more explosive player- 3 more TD's in 27 less catches...much higher ypc....

Anyway, the comparison is a bit unfair and I'm sorry I brought it up.  You're right- we need to see these guys on the field.

I'm not saying he won't be a good pro and I don't know enough about the guy.  I think my problem is that I was excited just a few years ago to get Moss, who I thought would do the things this guy is supposed to do.

And the fact that he broke records at Troy doesn't really impress me.  PSU just sent their all-time leading rusher to the Redskins in the 6th round.  This is a guy who amassed more yards than Curt Warner, Ki-Jana Carter, Lydell Mitchell, Lenny Moore, Curtis Enis, Larry Johnson, Blair Thomas....  Anyway, records can be deceiving and are not great indicators of future NFL success.
