Same here. This was way too easy when we all first started doing it. Mixing in words like cacao, smite, and today's word has made it more challenging and hence more interesting.

It's funny, I do the crossword puzzle in my paper every day and for some reason, this word was in there today. Strange.

I only had 3 letters after my first 3 tries, used a word to incorporate some extra letters for 4, and saw a possibility for that word and got it in 5.

I have used this word several times, especially when describing how I used to bowl.

Another 5 for me today. Tricky word, but at least it is a word that is familiar to the average English speaking human

Having the first letter is huge. I eliminated all the vowels except for one and key consonants after two rounds. Took a while but nothing else worked.

4 for me. without any letters on my second word, made it very hard to even take a shot at 3, so I went back to my usual 3 words and thought this was fairly easy. (considering I had the first letter which helped a lot.

You can add me to that list because I had the same green and four yellows in the same order. I know exactly what word they used because I used it too. After that, it was just a matter of rearranging the yellows into a word that made sense

If I had gotten any letters with my second word, I would have taken a shot with my 3rd pick, but I got nothing. When I got the first letter on that 3rd pick, just a couple of minutes moving them around, and viola, my usual 4.
