I like figuring out what other words people must've used based on their pattern. This morning I said to myself, "Self...Rich used WOMEN for his 3rd attempt and Ed used TOKEN for his 2nd attempt".
I was right  :ok:
The joke I told yesterday was so funny that,
apparently, HR wants to hear it tomorrow

I have played a lot of Words With Friends.  So much so that I know the point value of most letters off the top of my head.   My strategy, in general, is to use as many low-point WWF letters as possible (in my early guesses) since they are the more commonly used letters.   For example, you see, I start with "stare," which is a collection of all 1-point letters.

Since I mentioned it, I guess I should post the point value of the letters

A - 1 point
B - 4 points
C - 4 points
D - 2 points
E - 1 point
F - 4 points
G - 3 points
H - 3 points
I - 1 point
J - 10 points
K - 5 points
L - 2 points
M - 4 points
N - 2 points
O - 1 point
P - 4 points
Q - 10 points
R - 1 point
S - 1 point
T - 1 point
U - 2 points
V - 5 points
W - 4 points
X - 8 points
Y - 3 points
Z - 10 points

Just curious if people are still using the same first word every day, second word every day, or adjust as to how the puzzle plays out.

I am a creature of habit and superstition so I have stayed with my first 3 words unless I have 3-4 good letters from my first guess, then I'll take a stab at it.
Again, just curious as to other strategies.

If you play on the hard level, you have to adjust the second word assuming you get at least one letter.   For me it's the same first word, and I use the same 2nd and 3rd word assuming that I didn't get any letters with my first 1 or 2 guesses

I never use the same word or words each day. When I wake up, I simply think of the first word that comes to mind that usually has an "S", "T" and an "E" or "I" in it - I also like to get "H" out of the way as it's a common follow letter to a bunch of letters. Could be anything. This morning I went with CHIME and I have no idea why that came to mind. Looking back, I am surprised I did not use SHINE instead or HOUSE :-??

There is no rhyme or reason to my madness I call a thought process. Blind luck or total misfortune right out of the gate

If the first word generates several greens and yellows, I'll use a different word the next day or so on.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."
