Holy cow Tim - is that 55 yours? That is my dream car if I ever had enough money (and a working garage) to build one, that's what would be in my garage. I owned a rust free, dent free 55 back in 1970 and I sold it  :'(
One of many stupid mistakes I've made in my life. My grandson has inherited a 55 2-door Nomad that is already road ready, but needs new paint, new wheels, an interior overhaul, and new leather. I have told him to never sell it because if he does, he'll regret it the rest of his life
The joke I told yesterday was so funny that,
apparently, HR wants to hear it tomorrow

Tim. Beauty is an understatement. What year(55) and model? What is the red car in the trunk reflection?

Thanks guys! Some of you know I detail cars on the side as a hobby/unnecessary side hustle. One of my customers is a body shop owner. He has a crew of about 5 guys working for him. He first asked me to detail a couple of his clients vehicles, even though the owner's guys detail as well. I think it was a trial run to compare my work to his guys since he offers detailing as an unadvertised service.

Once he saw the quality of my work, he asked me to show his guys how I achieve my results! Anyway, he, his brother and his dad are big into classic cars. The owner's  dad has an auto repair shop right next door to him. The dad is still actively repairing at 80+ years old!  =D>

When I first did the initial vehicles, the blue '55 Bel Air was sitting outside and while it looked great from 25 feet, as I got closer, I could see the swirls. I knew he took care of it himself so I didn't want to insult him by offering to correct the paint and remove the swirls. After he saw what I did with the other vehicles, he asked me to not only do his, but his dad's '50 Deluxe Convertible!

I did the convertible last Saturday and the Bel Air yesterday.

I'll get some pics of both of them another time.

And then, there's his brother. They are currently working on a Chevelle SS. That should be done in May. He also has a mint 442 convertible under wraps waiting for me!

Is that a ceramic glaze you use? Looks fantastic!

Thanks Ed!

The Convertible has a 3-year ceramic coating.

The '55 has a ceramic-infused wax. It's not a full ceramic but it lasts much longer than a carnauba wax.
