I didn't expect a double letter. I went through my normal routine of seeking out vowels. That took up the first three guesses.

I guess you missed my wordplay.   Like you, I find I don't naturally look at double letters.  I often need to make a conscious effort to include them as options.  It took me longer today as well because the double letter wasn't among my go-to guesses

Funny thing. I had two letters and the right one in the middle made it tough as all the options for the first two letters either didn't fit or had already been used. The correct response was the first word I thought of almost intantly, but dismissed it because I didn't want burn two same letters and didn't seem like a word the game would choose. Five minutes later and my brain starting to hurt, I just put in the word that I thought of first and man was I surprised they flipped green. Luck!
