Exercising that blob atop my shoulders (Wordle)

It's sort of funny, I had 3 letters correct on my first guess.   I studied it a bit and decided there were too many possible combinations left with the two remaining letters that I used my second establishing word.   That gave me the last 2 letters in position so guess number 3 was a slam dunk

I had 3 letters on the first guess as well; my standard starting word. The 3rd and 5th letters were in place. Based on that, one word popped immediately into my head. I punched it in but then I had a second thought to change one of the letters. I normally don't stray from my first guess but this time it worked. Got it in 2.

Far cry from yesterday as it took me all 6 tries. It was another feast or famine day as well; all greens and grays.

I usually use a different starting word each day...whatever comes to mind that has no rhyme or reason

Wherever you read that, they steered you wrong.  I just checked and it's still the same word now that it was early this morning

Rich. At 5:00 this morning when I did it the word was FETUS.  So if others had SHINE then it was changed.

Took me five shots as well and I was getting desperate. Took a coffee break after the 4th miss and when I came back it was the only word I could come up with that fit with the letters I had left and I was sure it was wrong
