No Giants in New England. Both the Giants and Patriots on Fox @ 1:00. Pats always get that game.

Are you able to get games like this on that contraption of yours?

Yes I  can. This is the reason I bought it.

No respect for us Maine fans. But that's becoming the norm.

Quote from: squibber on September 02, 2024, 12:42:39 PMOn a lighter note, I had two weird dreams lately.

Dream 1: I am sitting in a classroom and my teacher is Andy Griffith. He makes us open a math workbook and wants up to solve the formulas on both pages.

Dream 2: I am going down an escalator in a department store. I am holding my infant son. Ray Romano is at the bottom of the elevator. When I get to the bottom of the escalator, I ask Ray Romano to bless my son. He does the sign of the cross in front of my son. I thank him and told him my son is going to be an actor. Ray said "No, don't let him be an actor!".

Maybe you should share what you've been smoking.  =))  =))  =))

My younger brother died in May of 2021. We were quite close. Very seldom did a couple of days go by without some form of communication. We loved talking sports so that drove a lot of the talk. My older brother died in January of this year. We were not close at all. He lived in Georgia and I'm in Maine so only saw each other very rarely. Hardly any communication. A few times a year. I can't remember having a dream about either one. I very rarely remember any dream.

Sorry for all of you have lost a sibling. It is a terrible feeling.

Masters of the Air was a very good series. A story about the B-17 crews that flew over Europe. Haven't seen the  shows that others have mentioned.

He was in Tombstone but wasn't part of the story. Went to California with Virgil before Wyatt started his vendetta.

On Netflix. Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy Wars. The story of the gunfight at the OK Corral and its aftermath. I found it to be interesting with a few things I was unaware of. I'll say it probably interests me more than most because Wyatt, Vigil and Morgan are my 3rd cousins.

Texas doesn't have a state income tax where as Minnesota does, so Lamb could actually put more money on his pocket.

Quote from: DaveBrown74 on August 26, 2024, 03:05:38 PMIf memory serves, Corral was drafted after the 2021 college season. How come he hasn't taken an NFL snap yet? Also, didn't he just recently leave the NFL to go to a different league?

Seems like he's having trouble maintaining an NFL roster spot. He lasted on the Vikings for literally 10 days after the McCarthy injury.

Don't get me wrong, Luck and Devito are both pretty bad, but I'm not sure I can see how this guy is the answer. He's 25 and he's already been cut by three NFL teams. Seems he is being given chances and can't seem to catch on.

He couldn't start for a UFL team this spring. I'll pass.

The Bikeriders. Supposed to be based on a true story. I enjoyed it. I thought Tom Hardy did a good job as Johnny, the leader of the club.  I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars.

A movie/documentary I highly recommend is "Muscle Shoals"  It is about a small recording studio in Louisiana. Amazing group of famous people who recorded there. It can be found on Tubi I think.
