I just don't know how anyone could want to go into the 2024 with the qb play that we've had the last half decade. Whether it has been fromm, Jones, devito, Mccoy, Taylor, or Barkley it has been atrocious and makes these games 100× harder to watch.

We should run with new QB and Devito next season. Make sure we get a new QB in the draft and Devito can start/back up.
Get rid of the rest. He's earned the right to be on the team and we need to move on with a franchise QB hopefully.

For me I think it's just his grit and his willingness to take a hit to give the big play down the field a chance. DJ seems to be of the mind to check his first read then limit loss, Tommy looks to stay in the pocket that smidge of time longer and look to get the ball to his big play guys down the field. DJ has some serious lack of post snap calculation and Devito is like F it.. sling it..

I'm not proposing that he is the long term solution. I just think the play of him and Taylor this year behind the same O line and with the same receivers (except he doesn't have Waller) highlights just how bad Jones has been.

I think the team is a lot better than given credit for. A bad Qb can make an offense look horrible, likewise an average qb like devito can make an offense look solid. Imagine a great qb in the offense and then you can get excited.

This cannot be overstated. They have been unwatchable for almost a decade. Even if that kick goes wide left this team is fun now and it's all because this Tommy Devito character showed up and just played better than Daniel Jones. Not great...not even good...just better than awful. And that's all the team needed to win games. This team is close. They are a real QB away from being a contender. The defense was pitching a shutout. There was no reason to think the jets would or could do a damn thing. Let alone orhestrate a game winning drive. And even with that play calling the they got to 4th and 1 inside easy FG range...where either the conversion or chip shot FG wins the game. So whatever they did to get to that point was good enough. Much like Devito it wasn't pretty and it may not have made much logical sense but it got them to the brink of an easy win. They just blew it after that.

Just got back, that was crazy. Too many Packer fans, seemed like it was 50/50. Disgraceful. But on the way out, we were the ones chanting GO PACK GO!
As you can imagine Tommy's a hit with the fans. After the Saquon fumble most of my row left, but I thought what the heck. What a last drive! Too bad Wandale missed most of last year, his quickness is a weapon.
