montreal showed it really is a good baseball town with over 100K attending the 2 game series....very good numbers for exhibition games and it shows montreal should have mlb ....tons of expos jerseys in the crowd and the stadium is very good for baseball....go Giants!!!!!

i know your area , beaverchops.....it was a long time ago , but i went over to see where mom was born.... i was able to spend a couple of weeks around inverness, nairn and fort william .....what a gorgeous area....go Giants!!!!!

todge....there isn't much shade to be had at suny and what shade there is gets filled up pretty quickly....bring sunscreen and a hat eh....go Giants!!!!!

george...i will certainly miss the guys as well....the worst part about losing a job of over 20 years is when you get another job you don't carry your seniority with you.....oh well at least i have a job ....go Giants!!!!!

well it looks like i am going to have to bow out .....i left it too late putting in my vacation request and when i went into work today i was told  it got denied....i have almost no seniority at this place which sucks and other people have booked time off around that weekend

on a brighter note, they told me i was good for the time off in november for the bengals game

ed....i will be in the area for a few days so i will be there from friday to monday......right now it looks like it's just me coming down

some other things going on in the area......

"A" ball.....the Tri city Valley Cats (Houston) play  the Mahonig Valley Scrappers (Cleveland) at J Bruno Stadium which isn't far from Georges place....this is a real nice minor league park that is very family oriented which means it's cheap

Sat 7pm....Sunday 5 pm....Monday 11 am

there are also some very good golf courses in the area.....my fave in the area is one bill (webster29) turned me on to.....Saratoga Lakes.....the starter there is a Giant's fan

i appreciate George's offer and have no problem with it being there....i just want to see the guys

maybe plan events on both days so those that can only be there one day can still get to see those that are there multiple days....go Giants!!!!!
