As I suspected, the Giants are showing they are significantly better than the Vikings. Talent-wise and Coaching.

The OL is very good. Better than most.

These coaches outsmart themselves.

The Giants are better than Minnesota. If they lose it's because they made critical mistakes.

The Texans hired Smith at the behest of the NFL because of the Flores debacle. Don't know why Wilks is not hired full time by Carolina. He did a very good job with nothing.

Giants have a better defense. They are better coached. The running backs are comparable. The QBs, also close. The Vikings have a great receiver. The Giants have good ones. And the Giants have a good OL. Looking at it all and even taking in the home field, the Giants should win.

The season is a marathon. Everyone has injuries. Timing is everything. The Giants are very healthy now compared to other teams. It all evens out in the end, though there were other teams much more devastated by injuries than the Giants.

That's about right. If the game was at MetLife the Giants would be favorites. They are evenly matched but the Giants have a better D. They should win.

Without a doubt, Barkley.

Barkley was/is the team MVP. His presence elevated Jones significantly. That said, will Barkley have another year like this one? My gut says doubtful, but what helps him is the continuing development of the OL. They were a very good unit this year.

They've been great. But a word of caution, they now have set up very high expectations going forward. What happens this year, especially at the end of the year, has no correlation to what will happen next year. Setbacks are not unusual.
