Yeah, MAIZE came to me first. I didn't immediately put it in and thought about WAIVE but stuck with my first choice.

I chose Baize over Maize. Had to look the word up. Interestingly enough I was out looking to see which store carried Cardoons. Saw it in an Italian recipe and never heard of them. The stalk resembles celery after peeled but they have a flavor of artichoke. Italians in the old country have secret places where they go hunting to pick them. Now my father used to mushroom hunt but I never heard of Cardoon hunting. I wonder if anyone goes Maize hunting. 😄
