I think it's fair to say with practice, we have all gotten better.  I remember early on when we were just happy to solve the puzzle.  Now we are disappointed if we don't solve the puzzle using only half the allotted guesses.

You are so right. And the funny thing is, we all use a different strategy, and we've all refined those unique strategies. Bill sticks out as having gotten really good lately, but we've all definitely gotten better

I really don't think I am the most improved as I feel I am the most cautious player. Unless I see a chance to get it before I put my regular 3 words in I stick with 'the plan'. I kind of disagree with what Rich said in that we are all getting better, but only speaking for myself, if I get it with a par or even a bogey, I'm pretty content. If like today, I can score a birdie, I am very pleased, but I usually will always work in the framework that I have established. I look at it, as long as I can keep my streak alive I'm satisfied.

For the longest time I would always use the same starting word and one time I got it. But a few weeks ago I thought it made more sense to try different words and I believe that has changed my luck.
