To be frank, I think the game is losing a bit of its luster for me.  Some days it is starting to feel more like a chore than the fun little brain teaser challenge it used to be.  I suspect my results may be a reflection of my changing view.

Todays word was very tough for me today. I got to the point where I was ready to just put in any word just so I could end it today. I'm sure you'll bounce back and nail a few to make all of us look bad.

I know the feeling. Sometimes I just say to myself, "this is stupid" when no words come to mind. But I keep reminding myself..."exercise that brain or it will start to die", so I force myself...same with Sudoku, chess, research, etc. My greatest fear, as that I get older, my mind will slowly die. I've been around too many elderly folks who I think the world of, talk like little children in their twilight years. I don't want my kids and grandkids to remember me like that...I know that someday I will just be a picture on a wall for others to remember, so I push the limits of my brain whenever I can to keep the brain fresh
