So what do they do? Go down to the local river and dump them off. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/southern-tier/2017/08/watch_2nd_alligator_captured_in_upstate_ny_river_video.html

Wow, what a story!! Since alligators are cold-blooded would they have survived an upstate winter?

Is the Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville the same park where that giraffe was born a few years ago. I remember that one making the national news.

Not sure if alligators are like turtles, snakes, frogs, etc. and can hibernate like them. Doesn't seem possible, but I don't know

And yes, they are at the Harpursville park

Quote from: Jolly Blue Giant on December 01, 2022, 01:00:41 PMI had it done at Syracuse Plastic Surgeons. They were very professional and when I told the surgeon that my butt cheeks were clenched so hard that they are starting to hurt...just trying to lighten the moment...this of course, during the series of Novocaine shots around the eyes, nose, and especially at the edges of my nostrils. My previous Novocaine shots from the morning surgery had already worn off...  ~X(  SOB that hurts. The PA asked me if I wanted something to squeeze, and I said, "sure, why not" and she gave me a silacone filled breast implant (Size 34D) to squeeze...LOL

The reason it looks so bad is because of all the bleeding under the skin and swelling. I was told it was going to happen. My original skin specialist told me that freezing wouldn't get deep enough and that freezing and topical creams only work for superficial cancer spots...otherwise, I definitely would've chosen that route over Mohl surgery.

I've always had the surgery done by my oncologist. I guess it is different for melanomas. I still go to the dermatologist every 3-4 months, hopefully, to make sure if another appears they will catch it early enough.
I grew up on a beach every summer. I am fair-skinned, freckled, and burn easily. PLUS over 50 years in the sun as an umpire doesn't help. Now I look for the shade most everywhere I go.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

LOL...I know the feeling. When I'm at an outing with my girlfriend, she always says, "what are you doing way over there?". She still hasn't figured out that I search out shade, no matter how little, and get in it. I will not stand and bake. At the beach, I have a pop up beach canopy that I can sit under
