completely forgot that, I just remembered him taking a few weeks off for like tonsils or something small like that and never coming back. Hopefully he doesn't end up in the elerson Smith what could have been conversation

What explains waiting until December 13 for surgery. Are we to believe there wasn't a definitive diagnosis until December? Are we believe surgery was deferred because he might have played in the post season? Did this cost him nearly two months of rehab time prior to training camp? Why not surgery a week after the injury?

Can anybody explain this?

Two possibly reasons:

1) too much swelling, had to let it reside

2) they were strengthening the knee.   They have found that some presurgical rehab can improve results and speed up recovery
