I appreciate very much what you have presented here, however, here is how I am seeing it.

I agree with you that not exercising his 5th year option was the wrong move.

However, giving him a new contract after the way he played in 2022 was definitely the right move.

The issue that I have was not the contract itself, but to me it was the size of the contract. If they were to have re-signed him in the range of around 30 million a year, then I think that is fair, but 40 million was too much.

As for your last statement, I would say it is yet to be determined, but this year we will all get our answer.

I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we are so thankful that you will be okay.

I'm so sorry for the pain that you are in, and that this even happened to you. Just know that we are all here for you, and if you need to reach out to any one of us, please feel free to do so.

Credit OG for doing his best to be available today, but he clearly was too hurt to play. Hart has also been playing hurt recently. The Knicks put up a valiant effort, but they were simply too depleted to win this series.

Very good season overall, and they're definitely headed on the right track as a franchise. Now they can focus on getting healthy.

Hope you feel better and recover quickly.  Take it easy especially when the pain meds wear off.  And, if they prescribe painkillers, take them if you need them. I tried being a macho man and not take anything and my blood pressure went through the roof.  Rest up
