We need guys who will still be good three years from now. Not guys who are well past their peaks.

Bro, do you just lay in wait for me to post so that you can crap on whatever I write?! LMAO

The Commanders just signed Ekeler, so you can jump on that one again too.

From Simms to Eli (with an assist from Hoss) our Super Bowl Quarterbacks. Great defense and clutch QB performances...NY Giants Championship football.

I have an old profile still floating around: andrew_nyg....I am one and the same!

About the same age as OV was.
But, IMHO, this move places as much pressure on Thibs as anyone.
Burns is a complimentary edge guy.....have we overpaid for a number two edge?
Maybe. Time will tell.
Smell my cheese you mother!

Honestly I didn't even remember that it was you who made the Ekeler suggestion. So the answer to your question is no.

I state my frank opinions on whatever the subject is, regardless of who is involved in the dialogue. There is never any offense or "singling out" intended.

While we're talking about Ekeler, the fact that the Commanders signed him means very little to me. They've been a bottom three franchise overall for several decades. What is more telling to me is that a savvy offensive mind like Harbaugh didn't want to keep him, even at his now significantly reduced market value.

It's all good. Different strokes and all that.

TRADE!!!

Giants spent the equivalent of a mid 1st to early 2nd to nab Brian Burns, depending on the trade chart you prefer (cough cough OTC).

The outside containment is concerning as well as the total Run Defense.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

He'll have better coaching here.

Brian Burns is a beast, what they don't tell you is that he was virtually the pass rush in Carolina, he had no help and so he was doubled constantly and still had solid numbers.

Andrew Thomas, who has first hand experience trying to block him, calls Burns an elite pass rusher.
