DJ is not rock bottom, cmon. He regressed terribly last year, but the real question with him now is his health. Can he stay upright is more pressing than his ability.

He's a stand-up guy. Never was a deep threat, but reliable as a possession option. :Giants:

I remember how our best weapons was punter Dave Jennings and the D in the 70s.

You talk about godawful offenses, those mid 70s teams were as bad as you could get. Terrific players Brad Van Pelt and Brian Kelley never got the success they deserved.

Let's Drew the line here, okay? He's insurance in case DJ gets hurt (very possible). I think he has improved from his Denver days..but meh.

The next qb is out there..somewhere..we hope.

Daniel Jones simply was awful last year. He can't be any worse..but that is a remarkably low bar for a 6th year pro.

Bottom line: Our heroes are probably near the worst offensively again. The QB of the future is still missing, and another draft and off-season is needed to get out of the doldrums

Quote from: PSUBeirut on May 04, 2024, 05:43:56 PMTrade deadline was two weeks earlier.  I think if they had dealt Saquon when they were 2-6, less than halfway through the season, the optics of them throwing in the towel would have been a nightmare.

Yes..I thought they should have traded them at the deadline.then they fell further.. Optics could hardly be worse until Tommy Cutlets emerged.

Mighty,

When they were 2-8, I thought the same thing-trade Saquon and X. You might have lost the locker room, but you have to think in what's best for the franchise.

So with their defections, they wind up with a 4th rounder in 2025? That was a poor decision, a try to salvage a season approach when it was already lost.

Quote from: DaveBrown74 on May 02, 2024, 08:29:59 PMIf it were my decision, my leash for neal would be not much more than one game. The guy has had two years, and he's been awful the whole way. Enough. If he's not good at right tackle right away, he should be out. Elumenor did a totally solid job at that position on a bad team with a bad QB for our current new O line coach.

Enough with the kid gloves on Neal. The guy sucks, and he was a dick to the fans. One shot and he's out. He should probably already be out.

Short leash for Neal for sure. I haven't seen any signs of improvement.

Choke job by the coach..who could have called time out..Mitch Robinson for defending a 3..and foul shooting. They Appled up. :boooo:

Tracy had one of the best ratios of making tacklers miss last year. He could be dynamic on kickoffs too.

There's nothing unusual about running back by committee these days and I'm hopeful he can contribute right way.

Could be a sleeper pick that pays off well. :Giants:

First..get his qb's name right..Janiel Doans? Cmon Malik. That was malikious. :knockONwood:  =))

How about staying relatively healthy for one year? The Giants are perhaps better..but they haven't found all the parts..yet.

Victor Cruz was different and rare.

Casey Rogers looks menacing. How did the Vikings pass on him?

Looks the part of a Norseman. Going to root for him
