Title: BBH NFL Draft 2010 Preview - Third day target list
Post by: UKGiantsFan on April 24, 2010, 06:48:32 AM
Top players still remaining on my 'value board'

32. DE Everson Griffen
40. DE Corey Wootton, Northwestern
61. RB Jonathon Dwyer, Georgia Tech
64. DE/OLB Eric Norwood, South Carolina
67. TE Aaron Hernandez, Florida
68. WR Mardy Gillyard, Connecticut
71. DT Cam Thomas, North Carolina
72. DE/OLB Thaddeus Gibson, Ohio State
73. S Reshad Jones, Georgia
74. RB Joe McKnight, USC
78. DT Arthur Jones, Syracuse
81. CB Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, Indiana PA
86. DT Geno Atkins, Georgia
88. TE Dennis Pitta, BYU
93. WR Carlton Mitchell, South Florida
95. OLB Ricky Sapp, Clemson
96. SLB AJ Edds, Iowa
99. C Matt Tennant, Boston College

Players remaining from my 3rd Round Target List at positions we still have needs
2. CB Akwasi Owusu-Ansah
5. RB Joe McKnight

I think we will be looking to bolster the roster today with a combination of four the following players:

RB
Jonathon Dwyer
Joe McKnight
Deji Karim
LeGarrette Blount

OT
Bruce Campbell, Maryland
Jason Fox, Miami Fla
Kyle Calloway, Iowa
Sam Young, Notre Dame

G
Marshall Newhouse, TCU

C
Eric Olsen, Notre Dame

MLB
Jamar Chaney, Mississippi state
Phillip Dillard, Nebraska
Vincent Ray, Duke

OLB
AJ Edds, Iowa
O'Brien Schofield, Wisconsin
Adrian Tracy, William & Mary

CB
Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, Indiana PA
AJ Jefferson, Wisconsin
Walter Thurmond III, Oregon

Ideally, I would like to come away with an MLB, CB, pass catching RB and a C so Chaney, Karim, Jefferson and Olsen would be a nice haul

How u feelin' Ceri?
Fun nite huh?

Chaney's injury history is a concern for me, other than that, nice Prospect.
Edds looks very interesting, u c any problem converting him to Mike?

Why don't u c us snaggin' an OL?
Few on the Board worthy of consideration.
I like Callaway @ RT.

I like your value board Ceri. I emailed you way back and asked for your thoughts on Edds and Calloway. Maybe we snag one of those guys today. I am intrigued by Phillip Dillard of Nebraska as well. The previous Mikes at Nebraska have included Barrett Ruud and Stewart Bradley- both of whom have turned out quite well. I too like Jonathon Dwyer. Would love to get him.

dasher, just realized u highlighted Edds & Callaway. I like them as well. I just checked them out, wonder what JR & Co. think of them?
There is still alot of talent on the Board.

Last I checked C was an OL  Koets is a lousy back-up so I think we need to replace him more so than a back-up T.

If I had to give a top 5 for today's first pick it would be:
1. MLB Jamar Chaney
2. RB Deji Karim
3. RB Joe McKnight
4. CB Akwasi Owusu-Ansah
5. RB Jonathon Dwyer
5.

Eric Olsen wouldn't bother me one bit.  And if we added one of the OT/G candidates, that would be fine, too.
